Wow. What a disappointment to show up at this botanical garden to find that it had been closed to the public for months. It's highly advertised in the LA tourist brochures. Apparently, it had been over 100 degrees in the garden for over 60 days. It was completely unkempt and locked. More

The Barnwell Center is five whole minutes of fun. It usually has an art exhibit in its small gallery and the gardens in the dome are pretty. But the building is small.
