The tours of Laura and Oak Valley Plantations were excellent but the driver was a nightmare! He was more interested in getting to the next destination instead of letting us enjoy our trip. The large van picked us up from our hotel on time. The driver gave a good narrated tour on the way to Oak Alley and Laura. Both plantations had excellent tours.

Don't forget to stop at B&C Resturant - crawfish to die for. and the bread pudding is like no other I have eaten. Prices are right too

Oak Alley and Laura are two very different plantation homes. The tours at both were excellent. Our guide at Oak Alley was young and quite passionate about the home and its history. I did the half day tour and saw Laura and Oak Alley, they picked us up at the hotel and gave a nice narration on the hour trip out to the plantations.
