I did the whole tour today with my family and it was fabulous! Tour starts at 0800 a.m. and you get to picked up in a small van. Our guide, Richard, talked all the way along to e plantations introducing us to all the creole, cajun life and history with the most interesting details running from food to culture while... More

Found this tour company on trip adviser. It was our first trip to New Orleans. We were picked up on time from our hotel and Elmore made the drive informative and fun. We ran into heavy traffic so started the day a bit behind. Our group visited two plantations Oak alley and Evergreen both were beautiful and the guides were... More

I chose this tour company because it came highly recommended, had an easily navigable website, and a informative person who answered their phone. I chose the all day tour that included Oak Alley, Laura plantation, and the swamp tour. Overall it was an excellent experience. Richard the tour bus driver and guide picked me up promptly at the given time... More

Richard, our driver was very knowledgeable on the region's history and also United States history. He had a very clear, enthusiastic, story-telling voice which made the ride to the planatations enjoyable. Just to let everyone know, the ride is at least hour long and that can get uncomfortable. You get to see the swamps and other plantations on the way.... More

We took the tour take visits two plantations from 12 - 6 pm and had a great time! The driver, whose name I unfortunately don't remember, was fantastic. He told us about the story of Nola and Louisiana, and played music from famous singers born in the state. We visited Laura Plantation and Oak Alley Plantation, which was an interesting... More

I was super excited to go on this tour after reading several reviews, so booked the 12:30 swamp tour, with pick up from our hotel. Well, we waited, and waited, at 1:10, I called to make sure they didn't forget about us, they said their driver was in the area, and would be there shortly. We waited in front of... More

Driver picked up on time. Then you have to pick up lots more places and hotels. One was quite far and then they couldn't find the people. 20 minutes wasted. Long long drive to plantations, commentary the whole time. Some of it interesting. Oak Alley tour was nice. Laura plantation tour was great. Then we had to go back and... More

This was a nice tour to take a break from drinking and eating every day for Mardi Gras week. It's a long ride to the plantations, so be prepared. The tour guide talks the entire time...sometimes it's interesting, sometimes you drown it out. Oak Alley was our favorite!! Beautiful and very interesting! I could do without the extensive tour of... We went on the Oak Valley, Laura plantation, swamp tour combo today. Richard, our driver, was on time when picking us up; gave great commentary on the trip to Oak Valley & keeping track of us all! Tours at both Oak Valley and Laura were different but excellent (two thumbs up for Rose @ Laura!). Lunch @ Pier 51 was... More

I loved that this tour company included transportation in their pricing and kept the group relatively small (less than 20). The driver talked the entire way, relating history of the area and pointing out things along the way to the plantations - and he was interesting, not boring or annoying.
