I love Slims. Slim's New Years night Zydeco party is an experience zydeco dancers must experience. Festival weekends are good times to go to Slims. This is a traditionally black dance hall. Generally the races mix well here and I have always felt welcome,except once when Kieth Frank was playing . The crowd was mostly young, and were pretty rude... More
