We took the tour with a large group of children...which was a bit of a mistake. But enjoyed the tour of the plant...oldest remaining in the US...and the movie...and the samples of the Pecan Brown Rice, crackers and coffee. Everything pricey in the store. Tour guide very good. Fair admission charge.

Loving rice, this was right up my alley....as well as my husband's. It was very interesting and we were able to purchase some Wild Pecan Rice after sampling. It was wonderful and look forward to cooking at home. Enjoyed the stop immensely.

We toured the Konriko rice mill and that is a must see. It is America's oldest working rice mill and is in the National Register of Historic Places. I had a ball in the gift store and brought home some fantastic seasonings, a cookbook, and the good thing is they let you sample!

The staff in the store was very friendly and helpful, and they have a variety of interesting products. We enjoyed the tour very much. It wasn't very long - but then, it isn't a very big facility! It was very informative, and we learned a lot about Konriko' rice production process.

We were a bit disappointed in the tour. First, we were sat in a storage room where we watched a very outdated slide show. The narration told us more of the cajun lifestyle than the rice process itself. After a good 18 minutes and the credits were running, I was hoping we had not been forgotten. The older woman at... This factory/store is a very short and sweet visit. The tour guide was sweet as a dickens. They know the story well and it's impressive to know this is in america and so quaint. It was a stop on my way to a tradeshow and I'm glad I did. You should visit if you have time. Parking is good.

The staff is very knowledgeable about the area and they have many recommendations on what to do and where to eat. They have a large selection of rice products and they did have samples. Many gluten free items since they are made from rice.

Louisiana is the largest producer of rice in the US, and there are a lot more kinds than you would every imaging. Stop by, do the tour and discover how delicious rice really can be.
