Very quaint! Limited parking. We drove around several times looking for a place to park and finally just gave up and went back to hotel. Visited here about 5 years ago and wasn't as crowded. It is July 4th so it's understandable.

The few stores that were open were great, but many were closed with no store hours posted. Many of the shops I remember are no longer there. It's like the whole town of Natchitoches just gave up. Not nearly as much to see and do as there used to be. :(

Strolling down the street going in and out if shops, places to dine, snack, drink, amazing general store, kitchen and china shops, ole time barber shop, flea market items, high end furniture, really a variety for small town. I recommend the carriage ride its relaxing and interesting and she tells you the best places to find what you are looking... More

Fun shops that carry everything from clothes to collectibles. The district is clean and well manicured with flowers everywhere. A nice getaway before couples or for girlfriends. There are numerous restaurants to stop and wine and dine during the day.

This was my 4th trip to Natchitoches and was as wonderful as the others. The historic district along Cane River Lake was even more beautiful with the magnolias in bloom. We happened upon the shopping district as they were gearing up for their "Girls' Getaway Weekend" which had the stores stocked even more than usual! Always something for everyone to... More

Great shops and boutiques. The restuarants are amazing but do expect a long wait on the weekends. The Cane river is beautiful.

Loved the town, though most stores closed. Big assortment of clothing, gift shops, & one very old hardware store full of nostalgia.

What a wonderful time! Visited the weekend before the Christmas lighting festival. It was not as packed as the lighting festival weekend but we were able to see the many attractions as well as the fireworks display. Phenomenal! I enjoyed the many shops along the way. Each are so nice. A little pricey but then again, I expected as much.... More
