We enjoyed the variety of stores in the area. Everything new, old and unusual. Lots of crafts and antiques. Each store had something a little unusual to offer and the people were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely downtown area alongside a river. Good for an afternoon stroll. Refreshing to see small towns that have a soul.

Several shops along the street to browse. A "small town" atmosphere where everything moves at a slower pace.

I just visited the area but it was beautiful and full of excitement. We went during the Festival of Lights season so the area was full of life and activities.

Had a nice 2.5 days here and enjoyed all there was to visit. Could go back again to visit other areas close by. It was nice to see the lights on the river for Christmas. The staff in all the stores were very friendly.

The historic district would be a fun visit any time, but for me the best time to visit is the Christmas season. The shopping is good and the Christmas Festival can't be beat. The Christmas lights are wonderful. There are some wonderful B&Bs right in the Historic district. We will be back.

Delightful variety of shops with some unusual offerings. Something for everyone! Jewelry, bags, linens, toys, food, antiques, clothing, household goods. Lots of benches available for those who get weary!

A lot of shops on Front Street. Some good, some schlock. Most don't open before 10:00. Some closed on Monday. A lot of benches for old guys to sit while mama shops. Nice touch.
