If you are there it is worth seeing, but I wouldn't make a trip just for that. Madisonville is worth the trip, but not just the lighthouse. More

we stopped by the maritime museum on the way. got some info from them then went to view the lighthouse. it's a good bit farther out than i thought but we got some decent pictures with the zoom. hope you enjoy it too. btw it has just been restored and is really pretty. i didn't know it had a black... More
