I have now been on two swamp tours in LA and this one was the best! Cajun Pride is on private land and therefore the gators aren’t worried about being hunted. Our tour guide was great. He is a real Cajun and gave us his history and world perspective. The gators were plentiful and they followed the boat around hoping... More

We really enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowlegeable and we got to see lots of gators. The highlight of our tour was actually once we got off the boat. Laurie (one of the owners) was super helpful. We bought her gator sausage and stayed a while after the tour. She was very sociable, and wanted to get to... More

I did not know what to expect on this tour, but it was very cool and beautiful! Our tour guide fed the alligators and they jumped right out of the water. It was very cool (and a bit scary) to watch. Overall, it was a very nice and relaxing afternoon on the swamp. More

We really enjoyed this tour. Before we left the heavens opened up, but as were were getting ready to board the boat the sun came out. We done the tour at 4.15pm and it was not to busy so there was plenty room to move about and our guide did not restrict us in any way when it came to... More

My husband and I have 5 teenage kids and we wanted an activity that will leave a good impression about New Orleans and Louisiana that will last them a lifetime. Since we were just staying 2 full days in New Orleans we decided to book a ghost tour and a swamp tour. After doing much research on swamp tours in... More

I have been on Swamp Tours in the LA area before and this particular trip is by far the best ever. The staff was very knowledgable, very courteous, and extremely helpful. We saw many alligators that were up to 10 feet long as well as Crane's and egrets. Several other water species including turtles and a snake. Ricky the Raccoon... More

This was a lot of fun. We worried about the boat size before traveling but every seat was great and comfortable. More

I booked the combo airboat - swamp tour because I couldn't choose which one to do. The airboat part is organized by a separate company called Airboat Adventures (see separate review) and is done in the morning. It is a totally amazing experience. When they return you to your hotel you have a few hours for lunch and then Cajun... More

The facility is very nice, and the staff very accommodating and friendly, but the boat was very crowded. Its difficult to see from the inner seats on the boat, and you have to shove your way to the rails to get a view. The tour was interesting, and the guide very knowledgeable. I would have liked to see his "one-on-one"... More

We live in the New Orleans metro area and had out-of-town company. Picked this tour from the reviews here - we saw plenty of alligators, birds, gar fish - very reasonably priced. We've taken other tours but really enjoyed this one. More
