Captain Tom was our guide for the swamp tour and he was very informative. We saw a ton of small alligators and 1 huge one. It was pretty awesome. Tom fed the alligators off a deck which was a little scary :) but it was neat. We also saw some turtles, racoons, and fish. Definitely worth it!

We went with a large group, and they made sure we were all able to ride in the same boat. It was a great tour. Our guide was very knowledgable about the area. The tour was a good length of time. Well worth the money. They also had a really great gift shop. We all loved it. We plan to... More

We took this tour to get a taste of the swamps surrounding New Orleans. We were picked up at the hotel on time (it's a half hour span of time) and driven to LaPlace for the 1.5 hour tour. There was time to look around the compound during the period before and after the tour with baby alligators in a... More

Make sure to get there 5-10 before the tour starts to check in. Many people drinking beers I wish that I had brought mine and also dont forget cash for a tip for your tour guide. Great tour overall and having a groupon made it an exceptional value! But i would go back even without the groupon!

My husband and I loved this tour. We saw loads of alligators, we watched the tour guide feed them and we got to hold a baby alligator, ticked that off my bucket list. The tour guide was very informative and very funny, had a great sense of humour. Would do this tour again and would recommend to anyone. Definitely worth... More

We've been on this swamp tour twice and really enjoyed it each time. Both offered new and interesting information, while showing us lots of alligators! Our favorite part was holding a baby alligator and taking a picture with it. Tour guides are funny and extremely knowledgeable about the swamp! All staff were friendly and helpful!

We took our two toddlers on the boat trip. We all really enjoyed it. Many alligators were on the shore and swimming in the bayou. We also saw some birds, raccoons, and squirrels. Watching them eat the marshmallows and chicken scraps was entertaining. And we enjoyed the opportunity to hold a gator! One and a half hours was just about... More

This is a great way to learn about tidal swamps where alligators, turtles, and raccoons thrive. The tour guides are excellent. An hour and a half is just right. You get to see the animals close enough for good photographs and learn a lot about the local environment. I didn't know that swamps smelled so good and had practically no... More
