Just a short drive from New Orleans, this tour won't disappoint. Great for children and adults. Our Captain (Brandon) was knowledgeable and made sure we were engaged and learning during our entire tour. He passed around baby turtles, a snake and a baby alligator while we watched alligators in the swamp come near our boat. You could tell he truly... More

Taken a whole bunch of these, and when it comes to seeing wildlife, this one is by far the wildest swamp tour around. Well worth the short drive north.

Went with 12 friends on 7/16. Capt. Brandon was a great guide for our tour, very knowledgeable and outgoing, with a few surprises for us along the way. Gators right alongside of the boat and alot of information given. We all highly recommend this attraction. The only negative was that the bus driver drove a little nuts and needs to... More

Fantastic morning and way to spend a morning in New Orleans - four 21/22 year old Australian girls who visited on 17 July 2014. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting - our tour guide, Brandon was very knowledgable. We definitely were not expecting all the little extras and were very pleased to be able to hold baby turtles,... More

I brought a group of 9 for the swamp tour last Saturday. I had a 15 year old, a 9 year old, and 7 adults, 2 of which were special needs, and EVERY single one of us had a WONDERFUL time! And we all live only an hour away, so we are locals!!!!!!! Captain Tom was our captain and he... More

I would recommend this to anyone going to Louisiana. This is fun and educational for all ages. We had a great guide that told of the history of the area (and a few jokes too) I got a TON of wildlife pictures. The boat was very comfortable and the tour was just the right length. There were restrooms and a... More

This was a neat experience. The covered boats are a must in summer heat. The captain told some interesting stories and facts and we saw many many alligators and raccoons. My kids loved when the captain passed around a baby alligator.

Knowledgeable captains take you through the bayous and canals, explain the difference, point out birds, turtles, various wildlife on the banks and you'll see a ton of gators, spurred by the captain's throwing of marshmallows, a treat that looks like bird's eggs. A highlight was when our captain passed a baby gator from person to person. Great tour.

Great swamp tour. Saw alot more alligators and other wildlife than the everglades tour we took. Great tour Captain (Brandon), had plenty of critters on board to keep the kids entertained.

Alligators, turtles. Egrets. Raccoons. What do these critters all have in common? Well, besides loving marshmallows they all are in abundance at Cajun Pride swamp tours. This place knows their stuff and uses good equipment and great operators/guides to show you their backyard and tell you all about it. Before we even got on a boat I had a dozen... More
