The Cajun tour was great and the tour guide was even better! We really enjoyed the knowledge og the guide and his true Cajun upbring!
I've been on gator hunts before, most in exotic locations with warm waters and large, large crocs. We went during a colder season so not a ton of wildlife. However, our guide was very kind, knew much about the area - and provided a lot of color on the swamps and bayou. Group was about 15 or so. Would suggest... More
We had a great time on the tour. We used groupons and it was definitely worth the time and money. Captain Brandon was funny and full of knowledge about the swamp and the wildlife.
Husband and I bought a groupon for $22 for 2 people! Definitely worth it!!! It was 2 hours! I won't spoil the fun details but that swamp is full of gators and some cute raccoons!
It was our first time doing something of this sort so we enjoyed it. We saw a few gators (from babies to full-grown adults), raccoons, a couple of snakes, and a few birds (like ibis)...it was relaxing. The tour guide was funny, telling us everything from history about the place to giving us info abt the animals we saw on... More
Saw a few gators. Learned about the swamp and history surrounding the area. Good time. Don't expect "Steve Irwin" type of gator action.
This was a nice swamp tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had a great time. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. We noticed that there were several vans shuttling people back and forth from their hotel. We did not use this service, but a great thing to have. The grounds are mostly rocky, making it... More
I normally don't write reviews but I feel I must with this one. Absolutely a must if you are visiting New Orleans. Me and my daughter took the swamp tour one day and the plantation house the next day. We bought it as a combo but split it in 2 days and it was great.we had considered going with another... More
We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the swamp by an entertaining gentleman who pointed out landmarks and told stories on the way. There were about a dozen people on the boat with us and Captain Tom pointed out not only wildlife but various plant species along our tour. If someone spotted something he would try to... More
We visted the Cajun Swamp tour as a last thing on our list to do before leaving. We arrived in good time and was processed quicky. Our host Brandon welcomed us aboard making us feel at ease with his wit and stories. His knowledge and love of the swamp and his job came shinning through all the way through the... More
