We did the swamp tour as part of a package deal and we were not disappointed. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained many things about the area. We were able to hold a baby croc. as it had its mouth taped shut. There was also a selection of small snakes to hold. The crocs that approached the boat were... More

A large group of us went on the swamp tour in Feb 2015. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The boat is not particularly fancy but it's fine for the tour. We saw a number of alligators and birds, and enjoyed seeing the marshlands. We purchased Groupons so the price was quite reasonable. A good, solid experience.

We were very excited to go on a swamp tour but were a bit dissapointed when we left. The boats were very full and the boat tour was beautiful but not really a swamp. We were hoping to see some crocodiles and learn something about them but unfortunately the guide mostly talked about himself and we didn't see any crocodiles... More

I'm a shopping girl and my husband is all sports but we wanted to do something out of our comfort zone in New Orleans. I jokingly said how about a ride in the swamps. We picked Cajun Pride Swamp Tours and had a blast! Their van picked us up at our hotel and drove us out of the city for... More

Seriously this was my favourite thing I did the entire time I was in New Orleans. We combined it with the Destrehan Plantation (great on it's own). Firstly, the ride was air conditioned and comfortable. Took a very short time to get to both places. We did the plantation first and then off to the swamp. The boat is comfortable... More

First trip to New Orleans & started with a swamp tour at 9:30am. If you book online you get a discount. The tour cost was $19/online. Staff friendly & accommodated my last minute reservation. Being from Canada, this environment was totally new to me..I'm used to whale watching, not Gator watching! Tip...if you're into photography..sit at what appears to be... More

We just came off a swamp tour. Cajun Pride Swamp Tours, esp. BRANDON, hit it out of the park. Alligators, turtles, snakes, and raccoons as well as birds were easily seen. And no they were not stuffed but real. Brandon was a likeable and knowledgeable guide. He truly exhibited that Southern Hospitality. Use them I don't think you will be... More

We had gone on a different swamp tour in Slidell earlier in the week and saw a few alligators but the swamp was very flooded so not much to see. We had drove by this place on our way to lunch on the last day before leaving and had about 2 hrs to kill. We dropped in to see if... More
