Like other reviews, liked the renovations. Now its finally modern and cozy. The exhibits were above average and wished we got there earlier to see it all. Would go back again to see other performances.

Beautiful building. A great place to see a performance - very up close and personal. Always interesting exhibits. Very supportive of the children of Acadiana, love Gulf Brew. Wish that their exhibits turned over more frequently

The night we were there was a gala for Steve Riley and the Mamou Boys. It is a wonderful theater, smallish but sensibly designed. The performance was remarkable and the center made every aspect of the concert more delightful.

We went to the newly renovated theater to hear music performed by members of the UL School of Music, and then returned for a performance by students of CYT. We had no idea how fabulous this venue is since the renovations were done. Congratulations to the Acadiana Center for the Arts for bringing Lafayette a first class venue for live... More

I love the art in the ACA and have come here when they have a new exhibit for the past 6 years. A year ago or so they finished and opened a theater for drama and plays, and it is very nice and professional. There is an in-house theater troupe that is outstanding! My only complaint is that parking is... More

short (30 min) film explains the history of the Acadians (aka Cajuns), their persecution and exile from Canada and their eventual settling Louisiana. Very well done and informative

This is a wonderful place to spend an evening. They have a wide variety of musical and cultural events presented in a small, intimate setting. It's frequently possible to get student pricing, depending on the event, so it's worth investigating even if money is tight.

There is always something interesting to see or do here. At any given time, there are art exhibits in different galleries, performances in the state-of-the-art theatre, and workshops for interested artsy patrons.

Price of $5 was OK, but really needed more art to look at.
