My 2 young boys love this place!

We live here locally and my 4 and 6 year old boys beg to go here every Saturday ! Not bad for $7 a person. There favorite spot is the interactive restaurant and grocery store.

The children's museum forms a rectange on one floor, which makes it nice to have older children do things at their own pace while you watch the younger ones. There is a big toddler area in the middle, but my toddler couldn't tear himself away from the ambulance. The bigger kids really enjoyed serving "customers" at the restaurant. This is... More

We bring our two granddaughters on lots of day visits to interesting places. They love to visit places that has stuff to learn and touch. This is a local attraction that fills that bill for short hop trips from home on one tank of gas.

Lots of old nostalgic toys. This is great for kids up to 12 years. Older kids might not have as much to do. It is great for a winter or rainy day. Good place to take the grandkids. Park at the nearby parking garage. If TA gives me the chance I will upload a picture of the building from the... More

I've been to the Children's Museum a number of times with my children over the past 2 years. They are now 2 and 3. Their favorite area is the little toy center in the middle and the grocery store but really that's it. I don't feel like it's very educational and they get bored easily there. It's honestly not worth... More

After I had taken my kids to the Children's Museum in New Orleans, I was thrilled to learn that we had our very own in Acadiana. It is much smaller than others I have been to, but it is still great. There is so much for the kids to explore that they just have a blast each time we go.... More

Great place for kids and parents to play! Small grocery store with grocery carts and with cash registers for check out...bubble station...small cafe with many fake food items...stage and arts and crafts. Very clean environment and a great place to go on those hot afternoons or a rainy day! We will definitely return when we visit Lafayette
