John and Tony are so awesome and great tour guides! We took this trip for my birthday wih 4 of my closest friends and couldn't ask for more! Whiskey river was the best place to go and John taught me to do some Cajun dancing! Thank you guys so much for a time none of us will ever forget!

I booked the Sunday excursion for a gift and what a great present it was! John Pastor picked us up at noon with accordion in hand and off to the swamp we went. His presentation was informative and entertaining. Next we were off to a fantastic plate lunch, a tour of Lafayette and a run for Boudin and Cracklin. We... More

We had a great bayou cruise with John, then he took us for "the best boudin in Lafayette" and after that hunted until he found a store that had crawfish boiling for us. John is a lot of fun and the cruise, the squeezebox music, and the Cajun food were all great.

My husband and I wanted to celcbrate my 60th birthday by doing all things Cajun in Louisiana. We had never been there before so wanted to hear, see, taste and dance. On John's afternoon trip we did it all. He played Cajun music on his squeeze box and showed us the Bayou. He made us a great dinner, the receipes... More

I previously lived in Southern Louisiana (for 14 years), but had not been back to the state for 18 years, since we moved away, and had never been as far west as Lafayette. John provided musical entertainment, as well as history, folklore and explanation of local customs, while Hart drove the boat (I was beginning to wonder if Hart even... More

At I recent convention in Lafayette, I set up a tour for 28 with John Pastor (Cajun Excursions) for a half day and with Marie Ducote (Cajun Tasting Tours) for a half day. What a hit with everyone! The "girls" LOVED John, his stories, his music, his dancing tips, his awesome personality, and the tour itself. He even found a... More

I recommend this tour highly. John is a born entertainer and so enthusiastic about what he does. There was a great deal of history, a really wonderful boat trip through the bayou, and the food he made us was some of the best we ate in our whole trip. Definitely one to put on the list if you want to... More

We had such a great time on our excursion. He made lunch for us and it was awesome. The chocolate bread pudding was to die for. Wow!! My ten year old ate it in like two bites. He also took us to a great place for boudin. If he asks if you want to go to the more adventourous pace... More

Amazing experience! We were a work group looking for a fun activity that can also teach us about the history of the area. Expectation exceeded!

After having just moved back to town, I booked this afternoon excursion for my grandmother (she's 80) and I to experience something different and get out of the house. We really enjoyed ourselves. John (guide) did a great job entertaining everyone during the tour. Definitely would recommend this to friends looking for something fun to do outdoors. Both my grandmother... More
