There isn't a whole lot to see or interact with here, and you don't see local artifacts, but the staff are some of the friendliest people! My nine year old nephew basically acted as tour guide to one of the staff for the geology exhibits. I think the staffperson's name was Liam and he was patient and not condescending at... More

The kids will love this place, it's about "touching" and doing! All of us 5 adults loved it! Great for the whole family.

The planetarium show was really the only strong draw here. Other exhibits aren't up to much. Only called in because the majority of downtown Lafayette seemed like a ghost town even on a Saturday afternoon.

It was neat, but small and didn't cost a lot. You can kill a couple of hours in there. Kids will enjoy the visit too.

Was there for a special exhibition on the history of brown cotton. There are many exhibits and there is an observatory show that introduces you to the constellation stars and planets.

I stopped here on my way through Louisiana. Temp dinosaur display was well done, informative, and well done. I particularly like the school of design creations. Brilliantly done-geniuses in the making
