This library is amazing! The children's area is huge with a Sea side theme. Beautiful water feature at the entrance. Fish designs and ocean cutouts throughout and all color coordinated make it very inviting for little guys to explore. The collection is extensive and in great shape. Lots of computers to use also. The Genealogy center is a super find... More

The activities are limited for children, nothing really to do. I the education down here is not up to speed on many different things. The jobs are limited unless you know somebody that knows another person to get find a job. Just as fast as they build stores they go out of business. I can honestly say most people

Yes, Terrebonne is just getting better and better thanks in a large part by our outgoing Parish President Michel H Claudet. The roads are improving along with recreational activities and various local fests happening monthly. Houma enters the cleanest city in Louisiana each year and either wins or places high in the contest. He and the parish council have are... More

Terrebonne Parish is easily reached from north and south along Hwy 90 or 20. Some of the most down home and good restaurants in the state are here. Few roads are true N-S, as most follow the waterways, and can be confusing to an outsider. But, you'll be hard pressed to find friendlier and more accommodating people anywhere in LA.... More

We have visited twice. The second time we took the two granddaughters, ages 5 and 10. They absolutely loved "A Cajun Man's Swamp Tour" and "Greenwood Gator Farm." There is so much to see! Our hotel had an excellent indoor pool.

I love the people in Terrebonne Parish but the infrastructure has a lot to be desired. There is no rhyme or reason for putting up building or connecting roads. It seems that if there is an empty spot just put any building. It is lacking aesthetics.
