Great learning experience

Was looking for something different to do with grandson. Richard our tour guide was very good with kids and talking about the animals. The walking tour took about hour and half.

This is over half an hour out of New Orleans but is one of the closer alligator farms. We went during a particularly cold spell so it was not possible to see the alligators outdoors as they had all buried themselves in mud at the bottom of the ponds to keep warm. We did see the smaller alligators kept indoors... More

Our tour guide Richard was very informative and pleasant during our tour. We enjoyed seeing all the alligators and turtles and other wildlife native to this area.

Our tour guide Richard was awesome. This is a very interactive tour got to sit on a 5 to 6 ft gator and hold a couple of smaller ones. They have more than just gators here, there are several turtles as well as a few crocs. This is just a down home alligator farm good family fun. P.S.if you get Richard as... More

Although it doesn't smell the best (I mean come on it's a alligator farm, they don't eat fried chicken, they eat rotting meat), the staff is friendly and educational. Best time to go is when the alligators are active, but during the winter is also fun. Both seasons you get hands on fun with the gators and the gift shop... More

Four adults (parents with 20 year olds in tow). I wasn't looking for the Taj Mahal, but certainly a little more substance and better appearance would of been good. Had a great time visiting with a young Asian man. Friendly, easy going. Unfortunately he was not our tour guide. The gal who ended up as our guide - was definitely... More

It's expensive, dirty, and stinky. But it's an alligator farm, which is cool. If you go when the gators are moving around, it's fun to see. The price is extremely high, and you won't be too impressed with the cleanliness - in fact one of the workers was walking around barefoot which was really just gross. But again, it has... More
