Very amusing times had at Gretna Green. Our group photo for Contiki was taken place here. As a site to visit - it's quaint but pleasant with affordable bites to eat. Do go through the maze if you want a laugh or two. Just lovely.

Quaint area with interesting shops. Our bus tour stopped here and it was a fun stop but I wouldn't make a special trip here.

Sounded Gordon the way in, a romantic point where couple would run to and marry However when you get there it's just the blacksmith (very average marriage spot) and a lot of shops Good to pick up some souvenirs but needed no more than 25 minutes

A wedding was taking place when we were there, it was lovely to see the bride go in. Didnt like the conservatory part at the back it didnt fit in with the overall setting.

I have always wanted to stop at Gretna Green, it conjures up romance, runaways, love and it still seems to stand for the same as we saw a wedding taking place. Yes it is commercial but really well done with beautiful sculptures around, lovely shops with really good quality items, a fabulous food hall and whiskey shop. Everyone seemed to... More

Visited on way back home from Holidays and visited Blacksmith Shop, found Christmas Decorations were already on sale. The selection available were different from those on sale in Newcastle therefore purchased a good selection- old style decorations.Layout of shops are good and food facilities are excellent.
