We decided on a whim to take this tour. We called in the morning and got to take an afternoon tour. There was a small crowd for the tour, but not too many. We all got to touch a 9 inch alligater. The guide was very entertaining. The kids especially like him. We toured the gater barns and got to... More

We stopped here for the tour during a bachelorette weekend. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a ton, got to touch and "catch" gators (baby ones in a small pool). Its a ways outside of NOLA but well worth the drive!

To be fair we didn't actually go on the tour. $30 for a senior couple and no pictures. One of the employees was very nice and friendly, but the others were dismissive and about half annoyed that we came.

Went here on a field trip. The kids loved it. And we all enjoyed the large shade trees with picnic tables, we ate lunch there. The kids thought houses that held the alligators smelled. But the really enjoyed holding a baby alligator. The introductory video and talk was very educational. I would recommend Insta-Gator Ranch to tourist, families and for... More

We live in New Orleans. We just visited Insta-Gator for the fifth time. My children and I love it even more each time we go! The guides are experts on alligators, and they give an entertaining presentation that everyone can enjoy. Pay the extra fee to play with the alligators in the pool, and if you're there during hatching season,... More

Love this place as an adult or with the kids! So fun, so educational. We visited on a weekday so it was likely a little less crowded than the weekend. A very hands on experience. You get to see and learn about alligators from egg to adult hood. Feeding the little critters marshmallows was interesting. I have visited with a... More

We visited this ranch while on our honeymoon - drove up from NOLA just to visit - and it did not disappoint. We paid for the full-suite of experiences ($40 per person) and had a really fun time. There was some alligator education at the start, feeding marshmallows to "baby" 3-4-foot long alligators, catching 1-foot long alligators and holding them... More
