Check their website for tour times. I'd recommend getting to the brewery 30 minutes early. You can sample many of their micro-brews as well as their Root Beer before the tour starts. The tour itself is not too long, probably about 15 minutes, but is fun and informative. They sell all of the Abita swag in the tasting area too.... More

This restaurant sits right off the Tammany Trace bike path, so my husband and I stopped in during a lengthy bike ride. We were ravenously hungry and after a consultation with the bartender/server, both ordered hamburgers as the waiter described them as always delicious, the restaurant's specialty. The hamburgers that were served were both practically black after having been torturously... More

My husband and I visited on a Saturday and arrived at 12:20. We weren't allowed into the tasting room until the 12:00 tour cleared out at 1:00...even after we mentioned we just wanted a flight and not a tour. We've been to a dozen other breweries and enjoy the laid back environment. We went over to the brew pub instead... More

My husband and our early twenty year old children went for the tour and let me tell you good luck.we came expecting maybe ten people at the most on this mid-week tour and found it full of about forty college students!A bus charted the students here for free beer and let me tell you they consumed! We felt like we... More

Never heard of this beer but not from these parts so went with a colleague during some free time. A dozen or more brews on tap--pour your own. And, it's very good beer! Small video and an abbreviated tour of the brewery gave us good insight into the fundamentals. Good job to the staff!

About 20 minutes before the tour starts you get to tap your choice of beer. They do have root beer on tap for those that don't like real beer. You are able to try as many favors as you like. After the brewery tour, which is an okay part, you get to sample more beer! If you really enjoy beer,... More

If you like Gyro's you have to order it when it's available. The service here is hit and miss. Great selection of beer of course. Love the beer samplers.

Good service, varied menu, fair prices. We enjoyed the entrees we selected, as well as the beers from Abita. Would recommend it even if it requires a little detour.

The portobello "burger" is not a burger at all but a giant portobello mushroom with avocado on a bun. It is superb. Unfortunately, it is not available on their weekend menu. Go during the week and try it for lunch! Neat atmosphere in a brewery and on The Trace walking/jogging/bike path.
