This place was a terrific brewery to visit. Educational. Interesting. And of course, I love Abita Beer.

We took the bike trail from Mandeville up to the brewery for the tour. The tasting room is wonderful, both inside and the charming outdoor patio. Abita beer is one of our favorites and this did not disappoint!

Tour is short but the information and tastings are top notch. Really enjoyed taking my dad as well as it seemed a fun family friendly (above 21) stop.

Great place to stop and enjoy the local beer! Went on the tour and it was actually a lot of fun! The tour guides were funny and knowledgable and the beer tasting was great! Wonderful group of people!

I use the biking trace every Sunday with my wife. We start biking in I-12 and go to Covington passing Abita Springs. We stop on the way back for lunch and beer in Abita Brewing Company. It is a busy restaurant visited mainly by locals. They serve local food and a great varieties of their beers. The food is served... More

Went to the Abita Brewery on our way to New Orleans (followed by a fun trip over Lake Ponchetrain to New Orleans). Check the hours/days before you visit but this was such a fun stop on our trip to New Orleans. I expected to pay at least something to go into the brewery but what a pleasant surprise to find... Short tour and lots of free beer! What is not to like? The Abita Brew Pub (where the beer was originally brewed) is about a mile away. Great pub food.

We really like this restaurant as it's in the heart of Abita Springs, and serves Abita beer. The food is good. Sometimes the service is spotty, but the food is always good.

First, there seems to be some confusion in the reviews between the Abita Brewpub in Abita Springs, which sells food as well as Abita beers and this place, the actual brewery on Highway 36 between Abita Springs and Covington. There's no food here, but plenty of free beer! We've taken these types of brewery tours across America and they're usually... More
