An awesome day out. The boat ride alone was worth the fee. A little choppy on the crossing just added to the experience, although I'm sure I may be alone with that opinion. Crew were superb, David answered any and multiple questions we had. Left to our own wanderings on the island with just enough time to get around most... More

The trip to St Kilda was the highlight of our trip to the Western Isles. We were also very lucky to have perfect weather - clear blue skies and calm seas. The entire trip was well organized, from the booking to the actual trip, and the crew were professional and placed priority on safety. We had 5 hours on the... More

St Kilda trip was the highlight of our trip to Scotland this year. We can highly recommend Kilda Cruises - professional and polite staff, fair price together with some great weather made this experience truly unforgettable.

We had a smooth sunny glorious day for the 45 mile crossing... Lots of sealife along the way too. Kilda is not easy to describe, so read all you can about it... I am not going to try. The skipper and crew were super, the company on board pleasant. The stacs and Boraray are highlights of the trip. This is... More

Wednesday 3 September, a busy day for Kilda Cruises, Angus on Orca III and Chris and Malcomb on Hirta, with real professionalism, knowledge and kindness they steered us safely to Village Bay and the stunning scenery of this "World Apart". Had a good walk on Hirta, up to the gap and on up Conachair, still leaving us plenty of time... More

This was a very special trip which we had wanted to go on for a long time. The crew were very attentive and helped make the day a memorable one. The tour around the massive stacks was awe inspiring and humbling. We have never seen so many sea birds in one place. Well worth the money and a big thanks... More

We were fortunate to get on this trip on the first day we planned , on quite a calm day. However, even if you have good sea legs I would say having sea sickness tablets is not a bad idea! There is always the Atlantic swell even on a good day. You really feel as if you are on a... More

Fourth attempt and we made it. Choppy seas (at least for non-seafarers) made for an 'interesting' crossing but will worth any discomfort. The island is wonderful and our admiration for those who made it their home is huge. As others have reported the return trip via the massive stacs with their dense bird colonies was equally memorable. A very big... More

Kilda cruises provided us with the opportunity to fulfil a 50 year ambition to get to the St Kilda islands. Angus and his first mate Dave made the whole trip a remarkably special one. Angus's long experience as a fisherman and tour operator in the Outer Hebrides meant that he never missed a beat. His skill and knowledge, together with... More

The allure of St Kilda has been very close to us for many years and our trip with Kilda Cruises enabled us to realise that in the very best possible way. After a previous attempt which was called off due to bad weather we made a booking with Kilda Cruises. From the first contact we experienced a friendly and quick... More
