Wednesday 3 September, a busy day for Kilda Cruises, Angus on Orca III and Chris and Malcomb on Hirta, with real professionalism, knowledge and kindness they steered us safely to Village Bay and the stunning scenery of this "World Apart". Had a good walk on Hirta, up to the gap and on up Conachair, still leaving us plenty of time... More

This was a very special trip which we had wanted to go on for a long time. The crew were very attentive and helped make the day a memorable one. The tour around the massive stacks was awe inspiring and humbling. We have never seen so many sea birds in one place. Well worth the money and a big thanks... More

We were fortunate to get on this trip on the first day we planned , on quite a calm day. However, even if you have good sea legs I would say having sea sickness tablets is not a bad idea! There is always the Atlantic swell even on a good day. You really feel as if you are on a... More

Fourth attempt and we made it. Choppy seas (at least for non-seafarers) made for an 'interesting' crossing but will worth any discomfort. The island is wonderful and our admiration for those who made it their home is huge. As others have reported the return trip via the massive stacs with their dense bird colonies was equally memorable. A very big... More

Kilda cruises provided us with the opportunity to fulfil a 50 year ambition to get to the St Kilda islands. Angus and his first mate Dave made the whole trip a remarkably special one. Angus's long experience as a fisherman and tour operator in the Outer Hebrides meant that he never missed a beat. His skill and knowledge, together with... More

The allure of St Kilda has been very close to us for many years and our trip with Kilda Cruises enabled us to realise that in the very best possible way. After a previous attempt which was called off due to bad weather we made a booking with Kilda Cruises. From the first contact we experienced a friendly and quick... More

A trip of a lifetime, many many happy memories. Fantastic crew, very helpful, friendly and kind. Great boat, spacious, comfortable and substantial. A very special trip to the magical island of St Kilda followed by a tour of the neighbouring stacks. I can't recommend this trip highly enough. Everyone should put it on there wish list and make sure they... More

Found st kilda cruises to be quite satisfactory in welcoming you and ensuring you reach the islands safely. However it suffers on a few fronts and it probably isn't kilda cruises specifically but rather the nature of all the companies that run day tours to St Kilda. The staff on Kilda cruises didn't provide any educational talks on St kilda... More

My wife, daughter and I visited St Kilda on 26th July 2014. This was a 60th birthday present to me from my wife, and she could have chosen neither the destination nor the cruise company better. I have been wanting to visit St Kilda ever since I first saw it from the Isle of Lewis on a clear day over... More
