Owner description: Located in Breaux Bridge, Champagne Swamp Tour's guided eco boat rides offer insight into Lake Martin's swamp, St. Martin Parish's hidden jewel. Please call for reservation because tour times vary. This professionally guided swamp tour will take you safely through cypress trees and tupelo gum trees draped in Spanish moss. This swamp is home to 205 different species of birds, and inhabits some of the largest alligators you will ever see up close and personal! We are open year round, 7 days a week. We are the only swamp tour at Lake Martin to provide indoor air-conditioned clean restrooms, souvenir shop, including cold drinks, hot dogs, sandwiches, nachos, ice cream, and New Orleans' snowballs! Outdoor covered deck provides seating areas overlooking the water, inside seating areas with A/C, big screen TVs - just to name a few amenities. Come hang out with us for an afternoon and join us on a Cajun Swamp Tour that you will remember for years to come! We can accommodate large groups. Photographers, bring your cameras! Please email or call to make a reservation.

My wife and I miscalculated our drive time, and showed up 2 minutes late - which left the guy running it less than impressed with us. However, it became apparent why he needed to keep a tight schedule as it went on. They had a tour to give after ours, and light was running out - so fair enough. Anyway,... More

We are so glad we did this trip. it was a toss up between a boat ride or an airboat ride. How pleased we were to choose this trip. We got up close and personal with all the wildlife, the swamp was beautiful. All you could hear was the sound of the birds. The guide was very informative with just... More

Brian was very knowledgeable and was very good at making everything he said interesting. The experience was very "real", and I felt that there was a deep respect and love for the unique nature sorrounding us.

This is a must do, it's a completely unique experience, a very beautiful lake and we got a great guide who took us through the swamp and found lots of gators for us to view. It really is an amazing place and completely surreal. Brian was great too, very funny and with lots of interesting information. Indefinitely recommend it.

The trip was your basic no-frills swamp tour. And that, dear reader, is what makes it so good. About 5 miles off the beaten track you'll find tour HQ. There you'll meet the friendly crew -- champagne is THE word -- as these guys (and gal) are talkative, funny and ready to take you onto the metal bottom boat for... More

Planned a "Swamp People" vacation in Louisiana this year and this tour was one of the highlights. We took our tour on 8/6/2013. If your thinking about a tour in the summer time I highly recommend an early morning tour. We went out on a private tour at 8:30am and by 10am it was getting really hot! Our guide Guy,... More

the best way to see the bayou - Guy Leblanc was great. we got a private tour and saw lots of wildlife. also learned a lot about the history of the area etc. excellent service, comfortable boats = well worth the cost. highly recommend it if you are visiting the area.

Gliding down the Bayou with Bryan was like entering a magical kingdom. We had a private tour, lucked out because of the weather, and saw plenty of animals thanks to his keen eyes. Not cheap, but worth it.

My husband, two nine year old boys and I really enjoyed our tour of Lake Martin. The boats were large enough to be comfortable but you didn't feel like you were on a huge tour boat. We saw alligators, birds, bugs and lots of different plants. The guide didn't just give a canned speech but interacted with the group answering... More

This was the best experience for me while in was in Louisiana. in fact i went back just to walk around. I want to bring my whole family down with me next time. Bryan gave the best stories, and allowed time for pictures.
