Description: The Red River is the picturesque setting for Bossier City's unique...
The Red River is the picturesque setting for Bossier City's unique shopping and entertainment destination, Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets. Across the Red River from downtown Shreveport, the project's first phase opened in November, 2003, with the state's first Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The remainder of Boardwalk opened in May 2005 and joined a vibrant casino district nestled along the majestic riverfront for nearly a half-mile. Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets is the first lifestyle center to open in the state of Louisiana offering outlet shopping, an entertainment district and riverfront dining.

The shops at the Louisiana Boardwalk seemed a little sparse, we did find things we liked at the Nike Store and Banana Republic but didn't see much at some other stores and we didn't visit any of the food venues. They do have a large Bass Pro Shops but we didn't need anything from Bass Pro. The covered parking structure... More

We enjoyed coming to this outdoor mall because of the beautiful way its riverfront has been developed. It's a nice but fairly short walk with views of some paddle boats and the casinos of Shreveport on the other side. If you're into it, there is a large Margaritaville property on the Bossier City side. And there are shopping and restaurants... More

This is not a Big time outdoor mall choices limited but check out BassPro which is always fun. The layout is good but the shops are limited. There is a movie theatre so maybe the weekends are jumping

This was a great addition to the casinos in Bossier City. Lots of different shops like Nike, Levi, Bath & Bodyworks, Carter's, Yankee Candle, Casual Male, Lane Bryant and tons more. Theres also several food places and a movie theater so if you have kids or teens there are different options. The trolley is a little confusing at first but... More

Really nice place to shop and relax and find great places to eat and have a few cocktails. The Bass Pro Shop is one place you need to visit while here. So big and the men would really love it.

Great place to get some shopping down if in the area. Also the layout is very nice. Enjoyed the views and strolling along the river banks.

I loved that there is always a breeze from the river. The shops were nice and it was a very clean and relaxing place. The statues were cool too! It's definitely worth a trip if visiting the town.

Be prepared to walk. There is so much to see especially if you enjoy shopping. A lot of different shops, boutiques, culture. Great place for people watching. Sitting on the benches and eating ice cream and OH those cupcakes! I found the restaurants excellent!

Many of the stores have closed down! Unless you have young children or want to go to the kitchen store, there is very little shopping left. Boardwalk management is going to have to lower the rent or more stores will be leaving.

Wife needed new shoes & wanted a selection. So it was a beautiful day for the Boardwalk. Not too crowded & they have a Under Armour store now. Got a little scared Farmers Almanac was gone but they had just moved. Some stores gone since the last time we went a few new ones. Nice to see the Boardwalk growing.
