Owner description: The Red River is the picturesque setting for Bossier City's unique shopping and entertainment destination, The Outlets at Louisiana Boardwalk. Across the Red River from downtown Shreveport, the project's first phase opened in November, 2003, with the state's first Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The remainder of Boardwalk opened in May 2005 and joined a vibrant casino district nestled along the majestic riverfront for nearly a half-mile. The Outlets at Louisiana Boardwalk is the first lifestyle center to open in the state of Louisiana offering outlet shopping, an entertainment district and riverfront dining.

Liked it all!! The only thing I would like to have changed was that I spent 3 1/2 hours in the Bass PRO shopping.

Wasn't impressed with either the complex nor the retail stores in this shopping center. The development felt sterile and the shops were mediocre.

What a well kept property. We enjoyed dinner, shopping, and a massage, manicure and pedicure ant Destiny Day Spa! We will return again!

There's a good variety of restaurants from sit down to casual dining. Bass Pro for the outdoor enthusiast. Lots of shops for girls and women. Good movie theatre. Lots of parking and the new Margaitaville casino is a draw. In the summer it's HOT. Not a lot for the men in your life. Just send them to Bass Pro.

The Louisiana Boardwalk is a modern, outdoor shopping mall along the river facing Shreveport. The "boardwalk" itself is a cement, nicely landscaped walkway with some purpose build seating areas. There were far less touristy specialty shops, as are present at other city's waterfronts, but there were a decent variety of large and smaller chain-stores and restaurants. One nice feature is... I liked it much better when I went a few years ago. Most of the specialty shops that sold one of kind clothing are gone and the outlet stores are steered more to children and young people. I've been to three of the restaurants and haven't really been that impressed with the food. Crab Shack was one of the worst... More

This was a nice outing for the day. walked along the river on a nice pathway. The only problem is the river view is ugly. Very dinghy and dirty. The mall itself is very nice and up to date plenty of good places to eat and the shops that are there are ok. We ate at Fuddruckers then did a... More

The Boardwalk is looking like many of the shops are closing and the people traffic is dwindling! We have been here several times over the past few years and things used to be livelier!!

I was expecting much more... I've been to "touristy" waterfront shopping areas in lots of other cities, I was expecting some unusual shops, good restaurants and and fun things to do. There were maybe one or two shops that were at all interesting. The rest were just like any other outlet mall across the country, except there were a bunch... More
