Owner description: The Red River is the picturesque setting for Bossier City's unique shopping and entertainment destination, The Outlets at Louisiana Boardwalk. Across the Red River from downtown Shreveport, the project's first phase opened in November, 2003, with the state's first Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The remainder of Boardwalk opened in May 2005 and joined a vibrant casino district nestled along the majestic riverfront for nearly a half-mile. The Outlets at Louisiana Boardwalk is the first lifestyle center to open in the state of Louisiana offering outlet shopping, an entertainment district and riverfront dining.

Many types of stores. Huge Regal cinema The prices at Bass Pro are reduced and The slacks & shirts at Haggard's are also The Kitchen store was marked down. A person who likes sales would be in HOG Heaven.

Had fun going to The Boardwalk everytime I go there! I shopped for clothes and shoes. I left my jacket at home and I had to buy another one. But it was reasonable!

Stores were laid out great with Joe's Crab Shack close by. Parking needs to be bigger to accommodate more vehicles because it took a long time to find a parking spot. Ready to go back and do some shopping!

Had a lot of fun here even though it was raining pretty hard. It's right on the water so eating at Joe's was nice because of the view. There are also many stores to shop at including a Bass Pro Shop, Fossil, Coach, Nike & Rue 21. There's a little something for everybody.

The Louisiana Boardwalk is right on the Red River and has tons of great shopping and a variety of restaurants. The Bass Pro Shop here is huge and apparently has live alligators outdoors although I didn't see any. As for the restaurants, we ate at Saltgrass Steakhouse but there's also a Hooters and a Joe's Crab Shack and a few... More

I went there to have some pictures taken. I knew that there would be some good background shots, but oh my, it was so much better than I thought it would be....., the train going by , the 'old' trolley that is stationary next to Bass Pro , the river, downtown skyline , oh yea - go to the top... Liked it all!! The only thing I would like to have changed was that I spent 3 1/2 hours in the Bass PRO shopping.
