Across the Red River from downtown Shreveport, the project's first phase opened in November, 2003, with the state's first Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The remainder of Boardwalk opened in May 2005 and joined a vibrant casino district nestled along the majestic riverfront for nearly a half-mile. The Outlets at Louisiana Boardwalk is the first lifestyle center to open in the state of Louisiana offering outlet shopping, an entertainment district and riverfront dining. « less

The Boardwalk is the highlight of this very small town. The outlet stores are very reasonably priced and its a great place to walk along the water.

The La Boardwalk is one of the few places where you can find entertainment, food and great bargains while shopping, even the Bass Pro keeps the men happy, while the gals can hit all the various outlet shops. It's become a yearly must at Christmas when family comes to town. Usually there are movies showing that are targeted at all... More

My husband and I have been going to Shreveport for several years - not as much the last couple of years due to circumstances - but I always count on going to the Boardwalk for shopping. This time I was a little disappointed. Lots of empty stores and not as many people as normal, I thought. But - Carter's is... More

Stop by the boardwalk if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed the live Christian music concert going on this weekend.

I stayed in Bossier City 2 nights and came down to the boardwalk both nights. There aren't a lot of places to eat as I thought there would be. Stores weren't open late. I saw no trolley. There are nice strings of white lights as you walk on the street. It's nice walking and having the river right there. Perhaps... More

The area was beautiful and a very nice place to visit, we will definitely be back. My only complaint is there were no higher end retail stores.

The Louisiana Boardwalk is a family friendly place with a lot to offer. It has everything all in one place! Shopping, resturants, a movie theater, it even has a nice hotel on property! If you like to gamble there is the Margarittaville Casino located right next door. It also has a trolly system that will take you from one side... More

There is something for everyone at the boardwalk. Men and woman who love to hunt or fish can visit a large Bass Pro store. Outlets galore. I would suggest downloading coupon apps and checking out the GAP discounts. There may be others but I use this one a lot for my grand children clothes.
