I was not able to visit all the stores or restaurants in this area of Bossier City, but had a great time. I visited during the daytime and found the area to be very clean, and shopper friendly. I like it that the Bass Pro shop and a casino are located in this area. This was a nice alternative to... More

I visited the Louisiana Boardwalk about a month ago and it's a very nice area. It was filled with shops and things to see. I will admit that it was very hot in August and there was no relief of shade anywhere in sight but it was fantastic for camera shots. Had dinner at one of the restaurants, "Copeland's Cheesecake... The Louisiana Boardwalk was pretty cool. There were many outlet stores there with lots of great discounts. The Red River was neat too and I enjoyed watching the turtles as much as I liked shopping! Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Been a while since we visited the Boardwalk. Seems to be falling on hard times maybe? I know it's hot but for a Sunday afternoon it looks pretty sparse crowd wise. Two of my faves have closed and the lines at the popular restaurants are gone. What's up?

I found the Boardwalk all but deserted on my last visit. Understandable, since the heat index was was in excess of 100 degrees. I know, anyone with any sense would have been elsewhere, in the middle of an August afternoon, and they were, but Bass Pro Shop was calling to me, and since I was there... Did not tarry long... More

Nice outdoor mall on the river front. There are lots of stores and a movie theater, the anchor store is a Bass ProShop. You can walk above the Red River and look across to Shreveport. You can also walk to the Margaritaville Casino, a nice place to visit in itself.

Came for wife's birthday. Website said coach store was open. The store wasn't even set up. To say the least we were not happy. Should have gone to Dallas for the coach outlet. Normally we love the boardwalk well not this time. You shouldn't put something on the website that's not true.

The signage needs work (on the boardwalk and driving). I walked down the shops and never saw a directory. The shops I went into were nice and clean, but not outlets. The Bass Pro Shop was awesome, so was Joe's Crab Shack and Margaritaville casino. As a handicapped person, the trolley that was advertised was important to me. It never... More

Reading lots of the reviews I expected more. On the plus side lots of great food places, many of our favourite chains. On the negative the shopping wasn't that great, much the same outlet places as in any other outlet mall. Very pleasant location and makes a good afternoon walk.
