The Red River is the picturesque setting for Bossier City's unique shopping and entertainment destination, Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets. Across the Red River from downtown Shreveport, the project's first phase opened in November, 2003, with the state's first Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The remainder of Boardwalk opened in May 2005 and joined a vibrant casino district nestled along the majestic riverfront for nearly a half-mile. Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets is the first lifestyle center to open in the state of Louisiana offering outlet shopping, an entertainment district and riverfront dining.

Nice clean open style shopping area, anchored by Bass Pro Shops. Several restaurants, Hooters and Cheesecake Factory among those. There were very few people in the shops or outside, being a weekday morning. We like the sports shop and the leather goods shop. ..we did pick up a pair of shoes at the Bass Pro. There is a bus/troll running... More

My husband and I visit several times a year and we always enjoy ourselves. We eat at the Saltgrass Steakhouse, see a long anticipated movie at the IMax theater at Regal Cinemas and shop til we drop, all too literally.

Great place to get out when the weather is nice. Stroll leisurely through the Boardwalk and experience the many outlet stores, views of the Red River, and the few nice restaurants which are located here. There is also a nice central courtyard with rocks and water fountains / waterfalls to relax.

Nice shops, great restaurants. Good way to spend a nice day outside. Not cheap but not overly priced either, depending on what you're buying or where you're eating.

All kinds of shops on the Boardwalk will keep you amused and looking for a bargain on clothing, kitchen or candles, many stores with assortment of items. Then for a relaxing stroll wall down to the edge of the river. Safe for all the family, accessible for strollers or wheelchairs.

The Boardwalk is fun in good weather. Parking garage has ample room. Problem with the Boardwalk is the lack of real shopping. Clothing stores are outlets. I seldom find things in these stores.

There are a variety of stores to shop at on the Boardwalk as well several great places to eat. I would highly recommend making it one of your stops when visiting Shreveport!

I'm a dude and that doesn't get into shopping, however, the Boardwalk is totally not your normal "mall" experience. With all the good restaurants, the theater, the hotel, and of course Bass Pro, The Boardwalk is never a wasted trip. The ambience is totally cool, especially in the evening and the selection of stores is great. Not like walking into... More

This may be the best kept secret in Bossier City. The river is muddy and not much to look at but there are more shops and activities here for visitors than you can manage effectively in one day. Bass Pro Shops is filled with attractions for every age and some great merchandise. There are sporting goods, restaurants, a bus trolley,... More

Well the movie was awesome. But communication was awful. We order a large popcorn with 2 large drinks an was told if we order large drinks that the refill is free. After the movie, I went to get said refill an was told by a manger that refills are not offered on the size drinks I bought. So, I told... More
