Outstanding place to bring the kiddos -- especially on hot days. The exhibits are well done and there are always plenty of staff on-hand to explain the different parts. The planetarium is a nice touch, too. We didn't have time to stick around for the show, but I'm sure it was wonderful.

Outstanding place for kids. Two different play areas plus museum exhibits. The best part was the theater a classic dome planetarium projected on by a great camera. Gift shop a bit pricey though. Great if you buy a membership. It pays for itself in two visits.

It's got a lot of interesting art that one doesn't usually see in normal art museums, and I loved it. The staff there was also extremely nice, informative, helpful and really interested in telling me more about the surrounding area too!!! And I really enjoyed the pictures and information about the planets and stars. The place is cheap and small,... More

Wonderful museum with many interesting exhibits. Spent several hours here while passing through Baton Rouge and highly recommend stopping by for a look.

My for kids and I went here and our minds were blown! My kids age range from 7 to 14 and it was entertaining to all of them! The planetarium shows are awesome and the Egyptian exhibition was a great surprise. Well worth the money!

We visited the museum during the free first Sunday offer. I was glad it was free because honestly I would have been rather irate had I paid to visit the museum. The planet displays were not working properly, the planetarium was a disappointment. I was excited to take my kids, 3 and 2 but there was little for them to... More

The museum is very small and the exhibits are too. Not much to see, but while IN Baton Rouge do support! Perhaps with paying visitors it will change and become a great place like the ART INSTITUTE?? Perhaps.

Went to here as we were touring around Baton Rouge downtown. Great time! The movie was good and a lot of space to look around and a some really good rooms for kids to learn.

Fun place to visit. You should definitely see a planetarium show when you go. The area around the museum is beautiful. Some of the stuff in the science exhibit needs to be fix as some of the buttons/lights don't work.
