The zoo is really beautiful. Although when I went they had construction going on. It was a really nice expierience for my nephew. more

Everyone was very nice and zoo was enjoyable. Most importantly to us our children LOVED their time at the zoo. No it is not Audobon in New Orleans but it is a nice zoo. more

Maybe the Baton Rouge Zoo is not much of a tourist attraction, but it is a God send for mothers. I take my son to this zoo once a week and i really only ever see other mothers strolling around with their kids. It's a great place to take a long walk and let the kids run free. The scenery... more

Overall this place is a little depressing compared to other zoos that I have visited. Even the Birmingham Zoo in Alabama and the Louisville zoo in Kentucky have a a better lay out and prettier plants and botanicals. There has been major talk in the last couple of years to move this zoo to a better location. I don't know... more
