The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. It was an interesting look into the bourbon making process. The grounds and buildings were well kept and attractive. The tasting included two of their products.

First class tour experience. Great food in the cafe. Beautiful drive through several horse farms on your way. Having the headsets made it so easy to here the guide without having to huddle together around him like you do with most other tours.

This distillery is one of the best to tour in KY. The staff is friendly and knowledgable with good advice. Spent the afternoon touring and relaxing after a tasting. I would recommend this with good friends or a business outing.

This was our very first stop on the Bourbon Trail and boy did it not disappoint! The tour was engaging, the site a sight to see and the tasting educational. The tour and tasting was over within an hour and a half, but took you through all of the process they use to fabricate their bourbon. The tour also provided... More

This distillery is surrounded by some of the most gorgeous horse property imaginable. Our tour guide informed us the stable where American Pharaoh was raised is only two properties from the distillery. I almost skipped this tour because I have seen programs on television explaining the distillery process, but I found there is no substitute for actually being there. The... More

Every time I come to Kentucky I try to visit one of its famous Bourbon distilleries. I have never been disappointed. Yesterday, members of my family and I went to to Woodford Distillery located a few miles north of Versailles--a town close to Lexington. Woodford Reserve is a magnificent property where thoroughbred horses are raised, and the distillery sits in... More

This is one of my favorite distillery tours so far. The guides were knowledgeable and interesting. Even the "new guy" who was in training was better than some of the guides at other distilleries. This is one that is worth the trip, even if it is out of the way. We will be back on our next trip to Kentucky.... More

We had a tour of the distillery. Our guide, Steve B, was fantastic. He inform us, entertained us and made the tour interesting. We saw the yeast eating the sugars, boiling, making alcohol. We saw the alcohol being distilled. We saw a warehouse full of aging bourbon. And best of all, finally, we had the pleasure of tasting the wonderful... More

We arrived at 2:10 and the last tour was at 3:00. They sold out of the 3:00 tours but allowed us to take a tour at 3:20, southern hospitality! The tour guide was excellent and the history here is sobering. Bourbon in Kentucky really is an part of American history. This is the oldest working distillery. They really educate you... More

Visited the distillery on July 25, and had to wait about 90 minutes for the tour. However, it was well worth the wait. Very professional, easy to hear (they give you a headset - every tour should be doing this), and the tourguide Terry was fantastic. The grounds themselves were beautiful and the giftshop had some unique items. If you... More
