Another stop on the Bourbon Trail. This one was notable for pairing their bourbon with various bourbon Chocolate... a very nice touch after many, many distillery tours and tastings.

Visiting this site during there slow time of the year was a huge plus. From the drive to the distillery to the tour, all was beautiful, interesting & fun. The tasting at the end helped enhance my enjoyment of bourbon.

Tour was good, but definitely a different atmosphere than some of the other distilleries we visited. They have two products to chose from (soon to be three.), not really to my liking. On the Bourbon Trail.

Located in beautiful horse country which makes for a beautiful drive to Woodford. New visitor center was very welcoming. Great history tour of the grounds and buildings. Great learning experience with our tour guide. Go in the off season when the crowds are less than busy months. Glad I went.

The distillery was unexpectedly busy between Christmas and New Years, so they were adding extra tours. We didn't really need a full tour since we'd just come from Buffalo Trace, so we were able to get a tasting in a little house for $7 (regular tour is $10). I don't think they offer this unless it is really busy.

First time at the WRBD. $10 per person for a tour. The guide was certainly knowledgable (but his jokes were pretty corny) and answered everyone's questions. My favorite part of the tour was the tasting which took place in their tasting room in the main lodge. The tasting room is very nice - decorations, the fireplace, etc. It was all... More

Woodford makes 2 bourbons and both are great. If you don't want another hour long tour, get the $7 porch tasting. Very informative and delicious.

Another stop along the Bourbon Trail, a pretty drive down long, winding roads to the hollow where the good stuff is made! Delicious bourbon, the double cask is so good. Tour guide Beth P did a real nice job, some interesting facts we weren't aware of, so good info. 2 tastings and a bourbon ball for $10, some other distilleries... More

You have to go here just to get off the main roads and see the distillery nestled into the countryside. The staff are very knowledgable and friendly. I love to see the differences in how the different distillers make their product.
