Woodford Reserve is one of my favorite Bourbons. So when I had the opportunity to visit Lexington, Ky, taking a tour of the Woodford Reserve Distillery was on my list of places to visit. The Visitor Center was recently remodel and reopened in a April 2014. The drive to the distillery was very picturesque. No freeways or highways, just country... More

The Woodford Reserve visit is well worth it. Awesome entry through horse farms and great scenery. Tour was very informative and each person on tour has a radio set connected to tour guide so you don't miss a word. Good tour of grounds, buildings and ended with a sample. A don't miss tour.

The drive out to the distillery in itself is awe-inspiring. You will pass numerous lush green pastures, wooden fenced horse farms and the overhanging trees form tunnels over the narrow two lane roads. The distillery is nestled in a picturesque setting perfect for making quality small batch bourbon. This is one of the classiest distilleries I have visited full of... More

The setting is simply beautiful! The tour is great in that you not only learn about the making of their bourbon, but the history of the property and it's buildings. The tasting after was very well explained. We visited in August when most of the distilleries are not in production, but they were which make it so informative. The drive... More

$10 tour for a little over an hour tour including bus ride up and down the hill, into fermentation tank and still building, and then the aging warehouse and bottle filling (although closed due to maintenance). Tour guide was knowledgable and able to answer a myriad of questions from the group of 24. Included a sample of base bourbon and... More

The Woodford Reserve Distillery, a stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, has lovely, historic, well maintained grounds and buildings. The gift shop has many interesting items including all of the accoutrements needed for appreciation of fine Kentucky whiskey. It takes a bit of driving to get to the Distillery, but it is worth the effort. Visit early in the day... More

I found this gem while riding my motorcycle and had to stop in. I was never a Bourbon fan but became one after this tour of their Distillery. The setting is unbelievably beautiful and had a great experience. I began to journey the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and found Wild Turkey Rare Breed is my favorite but do think Woodford Reserve... More

Woodford is a beautiful facility and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and during the tasting he walked us through on acclimating your pallet so that you can get the best flavors from your bourbon! Well worth the visit!

I may be biased because I love WF bourbon, but this was a great experience. The setting is beautiful and very green. Our tour guide (Carey) knew his stuff and shared a lot of great knowledge. Cool gift shop too.
