The hike is not difficult and the path is well marked, so this isn't a place for someone looking for an intense workout/adventure. However, you can make the hike short or long, take the ski lift up if you're out of shape or down if you're tired, and the scenery may not be pristine, but it's gorgeous! The view from... more

We traveled in our 17' Casita last week to camp for 2 nights at this lovely park. The hiking is nice and there are a variety of choices for short or long hikes. Cliffs are steep making it adventurous. We stayed in the Middleton campground right along the river. Listening to the stream and watching the trout made it quite... more

We don't recommend camping in this park unless you are in a tent , pop up, or small Class C. Campsites are very short. There are 3 one way roads. The pull through is in the middle. When we pulled our 32 ft. motorhome in, we realized that there was a good chance we couldn't get out. Behind and in... more

The park was so beautiful, but our day was ruined by the manager of the skylift. After paying $9.00 each we took the lift to the top, walked straight out to the bridge, and took 3 photos. We were told we had to immediatly return because the manager was threatening to shut down the lift and leave us to HIKE... more

Natural Bridge State Park is wonderful. The mountain views are spectacular. The hiking was among the best I've ever done. But, be cautious of renting a cabin from Natural Bridge Cabin Company. When we arrived, they had already given someone else the cabin we reserved, and the other cabins they tried to get us to take were on ATV trails,... more

We were very disappointed in the campsites. The maps online did not match the actual campsites. They were very small and tent sites were gravel! ( We've since found out that gravel tent sites is "normal" for Kentucky & Tennessee.) There was no playground at the campsites. Fortunately, there was a creeek and the grandkids spent much time in the... more

Spent Labor Day weekend in a wonderfully rustic, secluded cabin just minutes from the state park. Quiet, peaceful and really nice. The mountain views from the lift and atop natural bridge were breathtaking. Can't imagine why anyone would go anywhere else with views like this. Planning on going back in the late fall for the colors and spending more time... more

I have been going to Natural Bridge since I was a child. It is a very large park with lodging if you are looking to overnight. I have never stayed the night, but I have grabbed lunch from the lodge a few times. I mainly go for the hiking. There are 12 trails to hike, ranging from 1/4 of a... more

We rented a cabin from 5-star cabin rentals. It was really nice and had all the comforts of home. It was about an 8 mile drive to the lodge and the hiking trails. We did the Original trail to the Natural Bridge. This takes about 30 mins and is the most popular. The views are just breathtaking. My son and... more

Sometimes you wonder about the quality of the rooms at a state park, but this one was really nice. We had a handicapped accessible room (it was the only non-smoking room left). It had light colored berber carpet, a queen bed, table with two chairs, tv, large chair that made into a twin bed and a balcony that had an... more
