The art work on the murals is outstanding and paints a picture of life in Paducah over a span of many years. I was intrigued about the murals since the same artist did the murals in Point Pleasant, WV. The river view behind the murals with so many rivers coming together made me feel like I was experiencing an important... More

I went to the floodwall intending to walk my dog somewhere different, and was surprised by how interesting the murals were. What a terrific way to share the history of this town.

Artwork on a structure sure brightened up this area. Ohio and Tennessee rivers meet and can cause flooding. This town did an excellent job of turning it into something expressive. Nice concert venue. Drive by is cool.

Always nice to stroll down to the riverwalk after a nice dinner in downtown Paducah. Each mural tells a story of Paducah long ago. The artistry is exceptional! Don't miss taking this walk along the river.

Although the levee is a necessary evil it's nice that they took the effort to make it attractive and informative. Since we're on the American Queen it was great to see the panel of the three Queen boats together.

Walking around downtown and around the Floodwall Murals was very nice. There was a riverboat at dock when we rounded the edge of the wall and that was a nice surprise. There was also a group of retirees that were like a Paducah Welcome group walking around the area. They stopped us and visited a bit. They asked if we... More

Interesting artwork tells the history of Paducah, KY. Be sure to include a stroll downtown to see these and the river after visiting the local antique/variety shops.

Take a drive down to the river wall and check out the very nicely painted wall murals with the history of the city.

Sitting at the juncture of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers has left Paducah the victim of innumerable large floods. The necessary but unattractive floodwalls have been adorned with murals of the towns history done by an accomplished artist. Each panel is explained and you can spend as long as you want studying each one so the time spent can range... More
