Don't miss these beautiful murals along the river if you go to Paducah. There are many of them and each has a description detailing history of Paducah from Lewis and Clark days and before. They are within walking distance of the quilt museum.

The Floodwall Murals in Paducah, KY are amazing. They tell the historical story of Paducah in art form. They are amazing to see and beautiful. Very unique. I have never seen anything like this anywhere else I have traveled. The scenery from the riverbank is also incredible.

Drive by and just do a cursery viewing or enjoy free parking and walk along the wall. Stop to read about each one or enjoy a lovely picnic overlooking the river. Just a peaceful place to spend a day. We stopped in Paducah to strech our legs on a leg trip, but my teenage daughter wanted to come back on... More

The murals painted on the floodwall are an interesting and informative addition to the floodwall. They trace the history of Paducah from its origins through the Civil War and into the 20th century. A very pleasant way to spend several hours on the river front and a nice walk.

Informative work of art. Many things to learn from the art work about Paducah and the area. It is impressive that the river could get high enough that the wall would be needed to protect the town. Great place to walk around with pleanty of free parking.

Beautiful outdoor art! Great perspective and very informative about the history and the development of Paducah, KY and how life was here at the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers.
