By all means, allow time to see the Floodwall Murals on the floodwall in downtown Paducah. They are masterful painted, enhancing the history of this charming city that so many people visit during the Quilt Show each year.

These were across the street while we visited the discovery museum. They are cool to glance at but truly a quick stop attraction.

This are very impressive and make a nice statement in the downtown Paducah area. It started raining, so we didn't read all of the plaques by each mural, but I would have loved to do do.

While downtown in Paducah, take a stroll to the riverwalk, and view the floodwall murals. The town had the brilliant idea of using the existing floodwalls along the river, to use as a backdrop for painting a series of murals that portray the history of the area. The murals themselves, are delightful in their scale and execution. On top of that,... More

I did not dislike anything. Being from a large city, myself, I was amazed that the art work had been preserved from grafitte and destructive behaviour.

This was a lovely walk on a warm and sunny day. A fun way to see the history of Paducah. We also got to see how high the river was and appreciate why the flood was was needed in the first place.

We took the time to walk this amazing Artistic Wall and read all the history associated with the city. Who knew there was such history in a small town like Paducah? What a lovely way to camoflauge a big cement wall. It is also well lit at night. Take the time to do the stroll!

If you are downtown in Paducah, it is worth a stop to see the historical murals along the river. An enjoyable stroll.
