Beautiful building, clean washrooms

Beautiful building, clean washrooms, pleasant ladies giving guidance. Weird Exit though getting into the rest area.

Stopped into the Welcome Center last week. Its a little awkward to get to as its not set up quite like a "normal" rest stop that is immediately right off of the Interstate. That being said though it is a nice place to stop and look over all the historic info and such. Its quite the building and has been... More

You really should visit this old home. The tour is really great. Lots of historical items inside with the typical info display for things that go on in the area. It's worth taking a bit of time to visit here.

A must stop off Interstate 47 on the outskirts of Paducah, KY. This 1860's mansion has been beautifully restored and is not just a rest area, but a tourist attraction in and of itself. Tours are only available in the afternoon and are free. Kudos to the State of Kentucky for preserving this priceless piece of history.

This home was once the Mayors residence. It is now a KY welcome center. It worth a stop . We were here Nov 20, 2015 and they were just decorating for Christmas so we were not allowed to wander through the home but we intend to go back in a few days to see what they did. There is a... More

Historical, beautiful welcome center. Don't just stop for information; take the tour. Note the interesting mirror.

On our way home from Florida to Illinois, and in terrible need of a "Rest Area", we were directed by the signage to your lovely White Haven Visitor's Center. As it was terribly late, the home wasn't staffed, however the restrooms, as the rest of the area were beautiful and clean. We took a few moments to take in the... More

Worth a stop if you here around the Christmas season particularly! When I was a young adult this house looked like a haunted mansion. Thanks to John Y Brown becoming our KY governor several years ago now, his wife, Phyllis George Brown, saw this place and convinced the state to sink some money into restoring it and making it a... A beautiful mansion, lovingly restored, in a surprising role as a Welcome Center for the equally surprising city of Paducah, KY. Worth a visit.
