Newport on the Levee is the most popular attraction in Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky supported by research performed in 2006 by Northern Kentucky University's marketing department. The Levee was also voted by Zagat as the #1 Shopping/Mall Attraction for Families in the United States in May 2004. Located just across the river from Cincinnati's dramatic skyline view, the Levee features a year-round schedule of festivals, special events, live bands and a great selection of restaurant offerings.

Expensive to park, but the night view of Cincinnati is spectacular!

There was a lot of construction going and no parking other than a pricey lot. We really only had time for dinner and a movie (Dewey's Pizza - also reviewed), so we didn't visit... read more

A variety of restaurants including seafood, italian, mexican and bar food....smaller venues for kids of all ages. Very safe and clean. It's a very well run district.

Not a mind boggling experience but it isn't a dud either. Not a lot to do but it's a nice place to take a stroll. Of course you got the aquarium right there and there's a good handful of places to eat and maybe get a drink. Actually looks like it might be a good place to hang out at... More

There was a lot of construction going and no parking other than a pricey lot. We really only had time for dinner and a movie (Dewey's Pizza - also reviewed), so we didn't visit any shops. The view across the Ohio River was interesting during the day, but really spectacular at night. If you add shopping or bowling, you could... More

You could spend most if not all of your day here. So many shops, stores, and kiosk. Fun things for kids to do like a water ball in a small pool. I would love to go back.

Lots to see! We just walked around checking things out, plenty to see and do down here! From eating/playing at Gameworks to 5 Guys, food was enjoyable. Wished there were a few more "souvenir shops" - teenager had trouble finding anything of interest to him.

So much to do. Easy parking. Strange you pay for movies upstairs. Parking adjusted but you have to ask.. clean and nice staff. Mall, restaurants, aquarium, riverwalk and or riverboats. Sad the ducks ride was done for season

We loved Newport on the Levee. There were places to shop and eat and the view was spectacular. Cincinnati is right across the river. It's a wonderful way to spend the afternoon and there were no crowds anywhere we went.

I loved looking around, but my favorite part was walking on the Purple People Bridge (no vehicles alowed) that crosses the Ohio River from Ohio to Kentucky. The metal webbed railings on the sides are filled with padlocks inscribed with the names of lovers who have taken the walk together.
