We loved Newport on the Levee. There were places to shop and eat and the view was spectacular. Cincinnati is right across the river. It's a wonderful way to spend the afternoon and there were no crowds anywhere we went.

I loved looking around, but my favorite part was walking on the Purple People Bridge (no vehicles alowed) that crosses the Ohio River from Ohio to Kentucky. The metal webbed railings on the sides are filled with padlocks inscribed with the names of lovers who have taken the walk together.

The Levee is a shopping plaza and arts hub. They have amateur acts performing. And the aquarium is great. If ever in the Cincinnati area. Check this gem out.

Nice place to visit. Shop or go to the Aquarium. Get something to eat at the many eateries. See a movie or go bowling. Great way to kill some time.

so many things to enjoy, as little or as much as you want, and something for everyone. I am sure I will miss something but here are a few of my favorites. Eateries such as Brio, Cold Stone ice cream, Sweet shop candies and fudge, Brothers bar and grill, Deweys pizza, Five Guys hamburgers, The Fish Market, Dick"s last resort-kids... More

A great place to kill time, stroll, or exercise (jog, run, walk) an aquarium, fish market, eateries, candy shop, coffee or beer. A clean area along the river with wall murals, hanging flowers, and many things to do.

I hate to sound too much like the previous reviewer (James A from Toronto) but he is absolutely bang on about how visitors need to find the good aspects of developments like the Levee. Our experiences are mostly limited to using it as a 'staging area' before walking across the Purple People Bridge when attending ball games on the Ohio... More
