I believe this might be one of the best aquariums I have ever been to, and we have been to a fair amount. Easily the best thing to do in this area, which is really a suburb of Cincinnati. When my kids were little, this was less expensive, and we spent WAY longer here than most people. So, it was... More

First the Pros: The quantity and quality of the exhibits were very good. We especially enjoyed the gator "mike" and the many views you can get of the shark tank. The shark petting area was neat as well. Now the cons: Aquariums are not cheap entertainment no matter where you are. With that in mind, the Newport Aquarium is expensive,... More

I had never been and thought this would be a nice stop on our short vacation. Boy, was I WRONG!! They were way over priced for the so- called attractions. You could hardly see the exhibits. They must train their employees like robots to keep on saying," how wonderful the place is and how much your going to see. NOT!!... More

Number one thing that made this trip awful was not being able to use my stroller. We were told it was not allowed until 4pm, it was 11:30pm. They did offer a carrier for he back, but its huge and its made for hiking. I was alone with my mom and my one year old son. I was the only... More

Disappointing! Very expensive for something you can see in a hr. Or less. We have given this a try 3 times thinking we didn't give it a chance but a lot of these exhibits can be seen closer to home at the zoo where you can get more for your money.

SHOCK I was not aware of an aquarium in Northern Kentucky on the Ohio River! Public transportation was a SHORT walking distance from my hotel, Garfield Suites Hotel. I boarded a bus to a shuutle pick up stand, (all walking distance from the hotel, really) then transported across the Ohio River to Newport, KY to a beautiful mall with shopping,... More

Don't waste your time going here! It smelled and was overpriced!! The fish were not great and the water looked dingy!! Nothing like I anticipated!! Ripleys aquarium in the smokies blows this one out of the water!! Don't waste your money!! Go see the Ripleys aquarium in the smokies for an amazing aquarium experience!!!

The penguin experience is so worth the money! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about everything! Ask any question and they know the answer or will tell you how to get the answer! I absolutely would recommend this place to anyone I know! Adults and kids will love to visit here! Can get a bit chilly inside if you are... More

This is a great stop for all ages. The people were great and all the exhibits were interesting. The kids enjoyed the interaction of petting the sharks and all other items. Great place

Pricey for what it is, the Aquarium in Gatlinburg is MUCH BETTER. Only took us maybe an hour to get through with a two year old. NOT STROLLER FRIENDLY!! The Alligators were the best part, they unveiled the new albino alligators, which we had never seen.
