I was never much a wine drinker until I came to Equus Run! I learned so much about wine and how to combine it with the right food to bring out the flavor! I have returned every year since 2009!

I had a wedding and reception there. The property is beautiful and Chris ( one of the staff members( was wonderful and attentive to EVERYONE! My self ( the bride), my husband and our families each had a terrible time dealing with Meredith. She was rude to more than one of my guests, the over charged us on several bills,... More

I am sorry to hear about your experience with our event coordinator. This is not the norm for our winery events! Please know that Meredith has left the company and we hope that you will visit us again. I take this type of feedback very seriously and appreciate your decision in having your wedding at our venue. Equus Run Vineyard & Winery is a fabulous place to visit anytime of year but particularly great when with dear friends! Owner Cynthia Bohn not only runs a wonderful winery, she's also delightful to talk with and clearly has a passion for wine making and for the gorgeous grounds she cultivates. The unoaked Chardonnay is particularly nice and the Tempranillo... More

Our group travelled to Equus Run as the first part of a "pre-wedding" adventure. We enjoyed a six-wine tasting, then shared a bottle on the patio. The owner and proprietor, Cynthia Bohn, spent some time with us, talking about coming changes and improvements to the property. We had a great experience and recommend Equus to any wine lover. Cynthia and... More

Went with some friends to do a wine tasting and became a member. Excellent wine and the tour guide was very knowledgable. Many activities throughout the year from concerts to murder mysteries. The Summer White wine is some of the best I've tasted

I visited Equus Run on a recent trip. The vineyard itself is decently sized and is nestled out in the country. It grows a few acres of its own grapes and imports the rest. They have a building next to the vineyard where events can be held, and there is also a gazebo and patio next to the vineyard where... More

Stopped for a tasting with another couple. Did our tasting in the barn while a band was playing. It was very nice. The tasting itself was not what I have been through on the past. Charged for cracker and other items to clear the pallet between selections. Gift shop was VERY SMALL and not a lot to choose from. Wine... More

My husband and I moved to Georgetown over four years ago and discovered Equus Run right away! It is a great place to go to enjoy the wine and fellowship. From May to October there is live music every Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:30. Besides that there are concerts, dinners, mystery theatres, etc! We have become wine club members... More

After a girls weekend filled with tastings at distilleries and wineries, this was the most disappointing of all. The tasting room was nice and not crowded at all. The server, Charlie, didn't seem to know really anything about the wines. When asked the difference between two of the dry reds, he said, "It's probably made from different grapes." Ya think?!... The owner offered to give us a tour, however we declined so we could taste the wines. It seemed a bit disorganized with the wine tastings. We didn't even finish our tastings, however it was nice to have some meats, cheeses, water/soda's to purchase. We took our meat and cheese out to the deck area to rest and relax. It... More
