Attended a performance of The Nutcracker by the Louisville Ballet. The theater was excellent and the production was wonderfull. The Kentucky Center is a great venue right on the river.

We saw Book of Mormon and were delighted at the fun show, the great acoustics, the sight lines, and the welcoming staff. Everything was completely professional. Staff members were most welcoming. Only one disappointment: The Kentucky Center Bar did not seem to have the appetizers described on the venue's website, so we were pretty hungry by the end of the... More

So glad that The Kentucky Center is on the Broadway Across America series! We just had Grand Tier row A center seats for "The Book of Mormon". Such a creative (although TOTALLY inappropriate) show! KCA has a great stage for these shows. Great acoustics for concerts also. So fortunate to have this wonderful space in our beautiful city.

I took my boyfriend to see Gavin Degraw in concert, any we really enjoyed it. There isn't a bad seat in the theatre. It is so beautiful inside this small but warm theatre. I will definitely go back.

My family and I spent $150 for tickets and had the worst experience ever. My two year old would not sit still in my lap and wanted to be in the aisle. I repeatedly try to remove him, but he wasn't cooperating. The aisle attendent continually harrassed my about him being in the aisle and I told her he is... More

Getting tickets was kind of odd. If you bought them online or by phone you had to pay a extra fee, but if you bought them at the box office there was no extra fee. The young lady at the box office was so nice and helped us get our tickets. Thank you very much Grace R. We enjoyed the... More

My wife and I enjoyed the shows this theatre. Beautiful ambiance in a small but warm theatre. Really not a bad seat in the house. Seating is a little tight, especially if you are tall. Parking is easy and reasonable around the area as well. Recommend this if you are in town and enjoy smaller theatre/dance productions.

We enjoyed a fine performance of War Horse by a traveling production. How perfect to see a show about a horse in Louisville! The audience was wonderful: enthusiastic and appreciative. The facility was lovely: nice seating, clean, comfortable. There is no center aisle in the theater, so depending on where your seats are, you may find people climbing over you... More

The center is getting really old and needs updating. The problem is funding. Many shows are not doing well because of the economy. The ballet has been using canned music because it can not afford the orchestra. This takes so much away from the ballet. The center has acoustic problems from the design which is well documented. The center use... More

Went to Louisville to see Lewis Black the Brown Theatre. The theatre itself was fairly small I thought. Very nice and clean though. I did appear to be well updated and nice. The décor was tasteful and again- clean. I wish the seats had been a bit (okay, more than a bit) larger- and I am so glad that we... More
