Leaving early in case we had to combat I 65 traffic, we found convenient parking on street a couple blocks away. Parking meters are free on Sunday. It was Christmas in March (tix were a gift), as we enjoyed a matinee show of the Lion King. This was the next to the last performance in this run so the actors... More

We went to see the Lion King and it was a great show the stage was great for this show. Very nice experience. The building is a bit outdated, but not disgusting in any way.

Went to see the Lion King at the Kentucky Center. The show was great, music and sound were great. The center is nice may need a little updating but for the most part it was a nice evening with the family

Last night was one of many outstanding performances we have seen at beautiful Kentucky Center; The Lion King was mesmerizing with it's acting, singing, costuming, and innovative techniques in wardrobe and set, a truly spectacular musical, worthy of its worldwide acclaim from Broadway on through the years. I have many performances through seasons of Broadway Live and Kentucky Opera, not... More

The venue is getting a little worn, needs some updates, but the acoustics and layout are great - would gladly see another show here.

We have been to several shows over the years, and recently saw the Lion King at the Kentucky Center. But our evening on the town quickly turned sour. After gaining admission and finding out seats, we got up to take our young child to the restroom before the show. When we returned, other folks were sitting in our seats. They... More

I had the privilege of being in Louisville for the first time and being invited to see the Louisville Orchestra perform. It was terrific and the venue was wonderful, great acoustics, and very conveniently located on Main St. I liked it so much I'm going back tomorrow to see the Midtown Men backed by the orchestra.

Last month attended a performance by Jeanne Robertson. On the advice of the ticket office, we got balcony seats. Apparently, the theater was built to 'play to the balcony'. The man was right! Acoustics were perfect and every word was crystal clear. The performance was also quite enjoyable.

We use to go The Kentucky Center all the time. Then I think someone new bought it. Don't know for sure. But they started to let people bring drinks into the center. Now you have people spilling drinks, bringing in food, leaving all that trash. Then it started the downward spiral. People don't dress up and act nice when they... More

Easy parking...great venue...FANTASTIC performance. The smaller Bomhard Theater was the perfect venue allowing for a more personal concert experience. Home Free is a great family experience. My nieces and nephew loved their performance.
