Pricey tickets if you include the lunch buffet. If you have any kind of lactose intolerance or food allergy, eat a big breakfast or early lunch. If you can eat just about anything and don't mind cafeteria/buffet style food, go right ahead. The best part of the ship is actually walking around and reading about its history and looking at... My wife was recovering from surgery and I wanted to take her and the family on a special evening of entertainment to lift her spirits. An evening dinner cruise on the Belle of Louisville was just the ticket. It was affordable and easy to find. We live in Clarksville, TN, so we made the 3-hour trip to the dock with... More

We did this cruise as an extended family of 8, ages 17-78. We were on the lunch cruise for the Belle's 101st birthday celebration. There are restrooms on the boat, as well as a small gift shop, bar, and snacks/sodas for purchase. We had a nice table in the dining area. A nice buffet lunch was served, including fried chicken,... Great weather and decent food for the buffet. It was octoberfest theme but the only German food was sauerkrraut and brats. Wasn't there for the food, though. Very peaceful on the water.

A bland run up & down the river, DJ played outdated music & talked a lot but communicated little worth hearing. Buffet was canned, greasy, & warmed up. I wont be returning.

We enjoyed a generous buffet lunch while on a river cruise on the Belle of Louisville an authentic steam powered paddlewheel. We saw the sites along the river while we were having lunch. Everything was easily accessible and there was entertainment for all ages,ie face painting ,balloons for the kids and music for dancing if you wanted to partake or... More

We took the Spirit of Jefferson for a one-hour tour (from 3 to 4 p.m.). It was 96 degrees so it was hot that day! The good thing is that the boat has air-conditioned rooms with tables and chairs and lots of windows so you can enjoy the view. This is a narrated tour. I personally would prefer a non-narrated... We boarded the Belle of Louisville for the brunch and lock tour cruise on a holiday weekend. We didn't realize that the person ordering the reserved tickets had to be the same person picking up the tickets at the office. It was a very hot day, so the umbrellas near the queue, and the well air conditioned interior of the... More

Staff (Cody and Kadie) we so helpful to give us good directions to get through all the bridge and Interstate construction so we could relax and enjoy an excellent dinner and a wonderful ride on the Ohio River. We saw a gorgeous sunset and the breeze mitigated the very warm and humid Kentucky evening. Every member of the crew was... More
