Fun, clean, courteous, knowledgeable, professional staff. Beautiful, classic, intimate venue. Everything was just perfect for our wedding day.

The Bell of Louisville is one of the last old time steam powered stern wheeler paddle boats around The brief trip on the Ohio River particularly in the fall is quite nice. The meal is overpriced and very mediocre, But what do you expect from a tourist attraction. Worth the price and time for the experience.

We were at Louisville on October 14, 2014, for opening ceremonies for the Belle of Louisville's the 100th Anniversary. It was a well organized and fun celebration starting with dignitaries speeches, rides on the Belle of Louisville (reserved in advance), street performers, food stalls, and stage musicians. It culminated with a wonderful fireworks display. We did not board the Belle... More

All waterfront areas have these lunch and dinner cruises. This was nothing out of the ordinary. Average food, overpriced drinks and a leisurely ride down the Ohio River. Cost was $35pp. Wouldn't recommend.

We took the grand kids to Louisville for the day and wound up at the riverfront, went to the Belle just for looks and kids wanted a ride so off we went for a nice ride, the mate of the Belle took us down to the engine room for a fifteen minute tour and it was real cool, treated us... More

I attended the Centennial Festival of Riverboats and helped celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Belle of Louisville. Also road aboard the Belle as it participated in a race with the American Queen and the Belle of Cincinnati. For a steamboat fanatic, this was heaven!

Staff greeted us as we boarded and directed us to our seats. Felt very special as our name was at our table. Lunch was way more than expected and delicious. Halls Catering did a wonderful job. The day was perfect to stroll around the decks and absorb the sunshine. We had music and dancing which catered to our generation. Someone... More

We went on a Sunday afternoon trying to find this place would have been easy but since there was construction the roads were closed but we easily navigated around that once we seen it. Boarding on this so first come first serve which isn't a big deal unless you have a group of 4 or more. From what I seen... More

We went on a luncheon cruise. We had fun on the cruise but didn't know that lunch was served and when we noticed other people coming up with plates, we went down and there was virtually nothing left -- only a few rolls smeared with some sort of cream cheese stuff. Go for the river experience -- don't go for... More

We really enjoyed our two hour cruise aboard the Belle of Louisville for her 100th birthday celebration. It has a snack and cocktail bar, dining room and a nice, little gift shop. The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. The riverfront where she's docked is nicely landscaped and clean. Many restaurants are within walking distance of the riverfront as... More
