A beautiful boat, nice weather and friendly staff, However... The staff sees no problem with selling $100 tickets to watch an airshow and fireworks to more people than they can offer a view of either to. My concerns were dismissed with a weak "sorry" and a chuckle. I was allowed to leave very dissatisfied with no attempt made to make... More

The Belle is a beloved part of our local history, especially at Derby Festival time!To take a ride on her is a step back to a slower paced time. Sit inside or out...weather permitting...and enjoy the views along the river. Hopefully you will get to hear the calliope played while you watch the paddle wheel turn. Sit back chat and... More

The steamboat couldn't run, so we were put on the CQ Princess, which was just an ordinary yacht. There were only 4 points of interest mentioned during the entire 2 hours and only 2 of them were remotely interesting. The dinner was mediocre at best. I paid extra for a photo and bottle of champagne. We never got the photo... More

We took this, one of the last rides of the season (Spirit of Jefferson). It was beautiful out so that made the day but the commentary wasn't that informative. I would have liked more history of the river and Louisville.

I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice moonlit night with their wife and friends. Plenty long enough but not too long at a pretty good price. We did not opt for the on board dinner but it did look very good. Will go again one day.

Fun, clean, courteous, knowledgeable, professional staff. Beautiful, classic, intimate venue. Everything was just perfect for our wedding day.

The Bell of Louisville is one of the last old time steam powered stern wheeler paddle boats around The brief trip on the Ohio River particularly in the fall is quite nice. The meal is overpriced and very mediocre, But what do you expect from a tourist attraction. Worth the price and time for the experience.

We were at Louisville on October 14, 2014, for opening ceremonies for the Belle of Louisville's the 100th Anniversary. It was a well organized and fun celebration starting with dignitaries speeches, rides on the Belle of Louisville (reserved in advance), street performers, food stalls, and stage musicians. It culminated with a wonderful fireworks display. We did not board the Belle... More

All waterfront areas have these lunch and dinner cruises. This was nothing out of the ordinary. Average food, overpriced drinks and a leisurely ride down the Ohio River. Cost was $35pp. Wouldn't recommend.
