We spent several hours at the museum and really enjoyed it. I took my father, because he was a big fan and grew up watching Muhammad Ali. My dad absolutely loved it and had a great time watching tv clips and reminiscing about his younger years. The museu mis very nice and includes some fantastic historical civil rights events and... I always have a back up plan. After zip lining at the Mega Cavern, and then enjoying local beer at Against the Grain, we had an extra two hours before making our way to the airport. The Muhammad Ali Center was a great way to spend a few dollars. The exhibits were technologically advanced, and the stories told were captivating.... More

I learned so much here, wow! So much information!! This is really not for kids though, too much reading for them. Very large, so you need at least 2-3 hours to go through it.

We visited on a Wednesday afternoon in early December right after the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. The two museums are downtown and within walking distance of each other. We bought our tickets at the Muhammad Ali Center for $9 per adult and got right in with no line or wait. As other reviewers have stated, the museum is more... More

The parking is convenient and reasonable. The admission cost was reasonable. The center has several displays and allows you to walk around and read and/or observe at your own pace. There are interactive sections and they also show several of his fights, full length, for you boxing fans! There's a short film about him that lasts about 10 minutes and... More

A must see for all boxing fans. 5 floors of everything Muhammad Ali and that era of boxing and the turmoil of the times. Great museum. I am glad we stumbled upon this museum.

Have been only once and was very impressed! The museum is much more about Ali the person and the social issues that were dealt with by Ali during his "reign". Ali had a more of an impact than I had remembered. I remembered a lot of what he had done, but when you put it all together the sum of... More

The Muhammad Ali Center/Museum was a great way to spend our first afternoon in Louisville. The did a great job pulling all the history together and laying it out in way that allows you to progress through time with this great American. You can set your own pace, but give yourselves a few hours to really see everything. This man... More

I thought that this museum was just amazing. I like when they dedicate places to people who made a difference in this world and are still alive. The place has 5 floors dedicated to his life from boxing, to religion, to philanthropist. His bio is just incredible and the place definitely delivers an excellent display of everything he has done.... More

I'm not a big fan of boxing or of Ali, but I found the center to be very interesting and informative. I definitely learned a lot about the man but even more interesting to me was how his life was put into the context of the history of the USA, especially the civil rights movement and the Vietnam War. Allow... More
