I have been to several special events and a wedding reception but I don't usually recommend to guests visiting from out of town. There is not really very much to see - it wouldn't take more than 30 minutes to view the exhibits such as they are.

I went to this museum on a business trip to Louisville and I have to say that it was pretty impressive. There were displays in honor of Muhamad Ali, as well as his actual items and great displays of his actual fights in video format, but displayed in interesting ways. For someone who is not into boxing, I really had... More

During some down time we had the option to go check out the Muhammad Ali Center and thoroughly enjoyed it. The center is life story of Ali and his career. The amazing accomplishment of his career. Ali's ego is present and it is part of his personality. There are many pictures of Ali throughout and a number of representations of... More

If you are a fan, you will see the history. The town is relatively small, but some attractions are waiting for you. It is a nice town.

My company had their annual meeting in Louisville and our Awards Dinner was at the Muhammad Ali Center. I had previously been to the museum before and we did have a chance to visit the exhibits beforehand as well this time. The museum itself is very cool, a lot of great memorabilia to praise Mr. Ali, it also had a... More

I learned a lot about Muhammad Ali, of course, but I also learned about the civil rights movement and Vietnam war that shaped who he was and what he stood for.

Ali was a boyhood hero of mine as I watched most of his fights with my dad. This place was great and took you through the trials and tribulations of ALI not only as a fighter but as a man. We got to see all of his fights on TV and even got to meet one of his daughters. This... More

A beautiful museum about The Greatest Muhammad Ali. Definitely worth the trip to Louisville in order to discover or re-discover that artist that did si much than boxing. Touching and inspiring!

We had an off-site event at the center. Probably 2000 people attended. The escalators broke down which created a bit of a bottleneck. It was fair, but I did not really get to see all the Center had to offer because it was so crowded.

I was here for a conference event and it was amazing! The memorabilia is wonderful to look at. You will need a few hours to fit the whole center in to see it all. The staff was so accommodating and made the event so great. Definitely a must see!
