I'm proud to be a Louisvillian, and proud to say this is Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr's hometown. You'll learn things like he was named after his father, who got his name from Cassius Marcellus Clay, the abolitionist, who as a former very wealthy and powerful slave owner here in Ky, saw the light and became and ardent fighter for the... I was very impressed with this museum. I didn't know a whole lot about the man and after spending time here, I learned much more. It is so well done and easily laid out that it is a joy to go through and read about this impressive man. I would have loved to spend more time here. Would love to... More

Went only for a couple hours. The history of the time period and the history of the man were so will captured here. Good for adults and my 5 year old liked it too. Gift shop had super reasonable pricing. One of the best museums I've been to. Don't need to be a boxing fan to appreciate the historical and... More

I grew up with the Muhammed Ali as a kid, so I was a little disappointed in what the center had to offer. More of a charity raising place then a tribute to the King. That is just my thought and no disrespect to the king of boxing and his foundation.

There was a lot of information that you had to read. There were a few interactive exhibits but for the most part a lot of articles and facts. I enjoyed it but was a bit overwhelmed by the overload of information. I feel this definitely needs to be for adults and older adolescents and teenagers. There was not much for... More

Another must visit if in Louisville. It shows the great man as an ambassador as well as a great sportsman. Very well done and interactive displays are well thought out.

Went to the museum because we were told from our hotel staff how awesome it was. I knew nothing about Ali before stepping foot into the museum and I left knowing so much. The museum is first class. Very engaging and they have exhibits that would intrigue anyone! Definitely a must see.

There was a lot of information I learned about Ali that I didn't know. Tons of video documentaries, and I really liked the hands on activities- boxing ring, speed bag, and the fitness challenges. I've never been to a museum that also included nutritional information. I thought that was unique. I have shared my experience with family and friends. This... More
