The convention I went to at Freedom Hall rocked! The venue not so much. While the venue is clean and is maintained, it's dated and they clearly tried to save money by limiting the number of restrooms - be prepared for lines. On the other hand, they ensured the facility would have enough bad arena food for everyone...there's lots of... More

I have been here several times for the National FFA Convention. Typically, the business sessions are held in Freedom Hall and it is great to have 20,000 blue jackets packed into the arena. The building is dated and in need of a face lift, but with the new arena for basketball downtown, it is unlikely that Freedom Hall will be... More

Although it looks a little rundown, it still functions well. We went to the Foreigner/Styx concert during the state fair. The concert was outstanding and we had a great time. The only downside was the number of drunks constantly getting up and walking in front of us during the concert. There were ushers stationed at numerous places to help everyone... More

We went to Freedom Hall for a concert during the State Fair. The venue itself it is a little outdated and could use a small face lift. However the concert was great!

This place is old but it still holds it own during a State Fair concert. We had floor seats and really had a good time. My husband grew up in Louisville, so he was very happy to attend another event here.

Venue isn't bad except they ran out of Diet Coke. Bathrooms were also dirty. Staff is non existent so finding assistance isn't possible.

Went with my family to see the rodeo. Show was great. Parking was very far away and seemed a bit hectic. Not a lot of direction once you get inside. We walked all over the place to try to find our seats before finally asking someone for help. Maybe because we were from out of town we weren't as familiar... More

It's disappointing to see what's become of this famous landmark. The fact that there are so few restrooms and concession stands, that the outer concourses are so narrow, and that it sits in the middle of nothing, have rendered it outdated for many years. But now it's starting to look neglected. The restrooms haven't changed in years and smell badly... More

We were at Freedom Hall the weekend of September 27th. for a Conference. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly. The seats could be updated and the aisle leg room should be expanded. Other than that we really liked the facility and the other 15,000 people in attendance seemed to enjoy themselves as well.

I really liked the fact that there wasn't a bad seat to be had! Yes there were 2 big screens during our event, but You could easily see the person on stage. Been here several times & had fun every time!
