This arena offered a great view for the Monster Jam monster truck series, but the seating doesn't allow for a lot of leg room. It's definitely a throwback to the 70's type of arena, but it was easy to navigate and has been well maintained.

This place holds many memories. Millions of people ventured here to watch games, concerts, graduations. I remember as a child how big this place was. I also remember when they lowered the floor to add seats for the growing Louisville population. The Yum Center has almost replaced Freedom Hall. Plenty of parking. I will always love Freedom Hall.

I'm an old Louisvilian so I remember Freedom Hall from before the tornado. The remodel has been great. Its just that everything is so spread out. Depending on how many functions going on makes parking a challenge. There are lots of spaces but even handicap are not near not to mention $8.00 to park. The concession stands seem dirty and... I read a lot of bad reviews for this facility but I did not see a lot of the things mentioned in the other reviews. Yes, it is an old facility but most everything looked updated. There probably were not enough restrooms but since I was not drinking alcohol it was not an issue for me. The seats were fairly... More

Outdated everything! Stalls old and are a horrible distance to broadband arena. Facilities- restrooms, stadium seating, area walls are outdated and poor condition.

The convention I went to at Freedom Hall rocked! The venue not so much. While the venue is clean and is maintained, it's dated and they clearly tried to save money by limiting the number of restrooms - be prepared for lines. On the other hand, they ensured the facility would have enough bad arena food for everyone...there's lots of... More

I have been here several times for the National FFA Convention. Typically, the business sessions are held in Freedom Hall and it is great to have 20,000 blue jackets packed into the arena. The building is dated and in need of a face lift, but with the new arena for basketball downtown, it is unlikely that Freedom Hall will be... More

Although it looks a little rundown, it still functions well. We went to the Foreigner/Styx concert during the state fair. The concert was outstanding and we had a great time. The only downside was the number of drunks constantly getting up and walking in front of us during the concert. There were ushers stationed at numerous places to help everyone... More
