We visited the fair exposition center is full of free fun things for children to see and do. They have lots of things for sale and lots of food vendors. The cost of $10. dollars each to get in and then $8. to park seems like a good deal for a day of fun.

This fair was setup different. The parking lot was a big square and the exposition buildings were in an L shape around two sides of the parking so we were in side air conditioning . Some food vendors were still outside and they had a large midway for those that wanted to ride.Horse show at 7:00 and christian concert at... More

We really enjoyed our trip to the State Fair. The booths and the exhibits were great. We spent from noon tell 7 on seniors day. The down side is the price of the food and drinks. This has to put a damper on families with children. The drinks are $3.50. A hamburger is $8.50 with a doughnut bun. Funnel cakes... More

Always fun. Always fried foods. It is what it is...fair food. The smells, the rides and the people watching. Never lets me down!

We visited KY Kingdom / Hurricane Bay on Wednesday August 6th. We arrived shortly after the park opened and easily found a really close parking spot. We (adults) used McDonalds supplied KY Kingdom $10 discount coupons. The kids wanted to go straight for the water park. Lines were short and staff was nice and attentive. Not a fault of the... More

The Expo Center seems to be one of those places I visit a lot through out the year for various venues. The State Fair is something I look forward to each year. Several sections of the Center have seen renovations the last few years, and they have done an excellent job in keeping most of it modern. It is always... More

I grew up going to this park and was thrilled when it reopened. It is definitely not what it used to be. I remember walking through the park before and around every corner was something fun and exciting. It was so alive. Now, its boring and feels like you walk forever before you find something fun to do. The park... More

We had free passes and were still disappointed with the value of the park. What could have been an enjoyable roller coaster was pure torture due to the lap bar being forced so tightly that it bruised both legs. On the way to the park, you see signs advertising $1 soft drinks - at the park, they are $3 or... More

Ed Hart and his local team of park gurus have done it again. Kentucky Kingdom and its waterpark has been brought back to life again and is more beautiful than ever - and their rebuilding is just beginning! Great rides, especially Thunder Run wooden coaster. Plenty of space in the park and plenty of shade for the non-sun lovers (me... More
