We spent several hours here and had a picnic lunch. I love the swings facing the water and watching the kids playing In the ground sprinklers. I like that they have food trucks here that offer lunch items, snacks, ice cream and Popsicles. It's a fun place to play.

Downtown Louisville has really made a great transition that welcomes outdoor park events, entertainment and just a place to hang out. A lot of kid friendly areas to explore. Love the events at the great lawn. And really love Waterfront Park during the derby festival' Thunder-Over-Louisville. Great addition and place to be for events in downtown louisville.

I am a native Louisvillian so I have seen places come and go as well as ideas on how to draw people to downtown. But, don't count me as an avid admirer of the Louisville Waterfront Park. It can be fine if one has attended a concert, ballgame, eaten dinner downtown, but as a source of spending much time, count... More

This park, located on the banks of the river, is a nice place to take a walk. Although it was raining by the bucketfuls, the park trails are well laid out and we still enjoyed a walk in the park. There was a clean, nice playground (swing set end).

This was such a great experience and so much fun! We rode the Segways all along Waterfront Park, across the Big 4 Bridge, toured Schimpff's Historic Candy Shop, and around Jeffersonville, Indiana district! David Thompson was our guide and he was GREAT!!

We planned a weekend trip to Louisville and this was definitely a great stop. Nice view of the water and bridges. The kids loved the splash pad and playground. I loved the big swings. If we had had more time I would have loved to rent one of the bike/car things. So fun. Oh, and my father loved the $2.50... More

There's a park near the waterfront - good for kids. We had picnics on the great lawn as well as flown a kits, played Frisbee and my husband have gotten together with some buddies to play football too. At night in the summer it's a good after dinner date night walk destination

We enjoyed the park very much, the swinging benches, and the walk across the old railroad bridge from Kentucky to Indiana over the river with changing colored lights at night was very nice.

Plenty of food and souvenirs vendors all over a little hard to find parking so we left our car at the hotel and had to walk about 4 plus blocks for a spot to watch the shows. I suggest getting the Pegasus pins for $5.00 it's a nice souvenir and you could win prizes when you register it on line,... More
