I really enjoyed the view of the waterfront park in downtown Louisville. Especially in the evening, I got a full view of the evening sunshine on the historical bridges. A walk along the river was an amazing experience.

Very huge park and very beautiful. You can see several swings and spacious grass area that my kids loved. We went here late afternoon and could not find a parking spot inside the park so we needed to find a street parking that a little bit far from the park.

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Delicious dinner at the crab shack one night and enjoyable boat tour another night.

Waterfront Park is a nice place to spend with your family. Looking for a nice walk, bike ride, or picnic the parks are clean and their is ample space and benches for all.

It is a nice looking park, and a great view, BUT it's recently been the place that's had numerous assaults by roving teenage mobs who've beaten visitors to the park at night. Cameras and a police presence still haven't stopped guns from being retrieved from trash cans by thugs. Visitors be warned!

This was our first time to Louisville Waterfront park. We went for a concert . From how they set things up for the concert to the food vendors it was a great experience. Plenty of room to move around.

Beautiful venue by the Ohio River when the weather is nice. Acoustics were good if close to the stage so arrive early for your event. The interstate runs through the back of the park and the music has to compete with the roar of traffic.

After spending the morning sight-seeing we decided to have a picnic lunch at the waterfront park before hitting the road. It was nearly 90 degrees so it was hot!! There were some shaded areas around the playground and a larger area with fountains/water features to cool off. It was fairly busy on the day we went but we had no... More

Friday's Allison Kraus and Willy Nelson concert brought the four of us 200 miles to Louisville's relatively new waterfront developement, an admittedly admirable and bold public initiative, for the first time. Our expierence is limited to the great lawn and the Brown Foreman ampitheater which the cab driver had never heard of and could not find because there is no... More

Seems like a nice start to a public park. Playground area, fountains, benches/swings along nicely maintained paths, access to the Big Four pedestrian bridge. But there is still construction going on. I think it will be a nice project once completed. Nice to have more green areas in the city.
