With all of the renovations this is hands down the best park in Louisville. Clean and beautiful it's a great place to visit for anyone.

Nicely thought out, but primitive. There is a good display of the Lewis and Clark expidition route but not notation about it.

Went to the waterfront for Gonzofest, and was amazed by it, even though it was flooded from the heavy springs rains, you could see its potential. Beautifully landscaped stroll along the river. Bridges to walk on. Bicycles in all shapes and sizes to rent. Porch swings. And, if you have kids really nice playgrounds. I am going to return on... More

This is a beautiful place with stunning view to the Ohio River and the bridges that cross from Kentucky to Indiana. I definetly recommend it iif you want to walk and know the city.

The Louisville Waterfront Park is an excellent place to ride your bicycle.in the spring, summer, and fall. With adaquite restrooms (portapotties), venders of soft drinks, snow cones and the view of the Ohio River it can be alot of fun to just sit on a bench and absorb the atmosphere.

We walked from the Galt House access all the way to the Big 4 Bridge. The recent flooding had left quite a mess of mud and debris and even so, the waterfront was attractive and nice for us. Because we were not familiar with the upcoming features, we didn't know how long it would be until we encountered restrooms. I'd... More

Beautiful redevelopment of the Louisville waterfront along the Ohio River. Space to walk, ride bikes, play on well-designed playground space.

Walked across the Big Four Bridge at Waterfront Park this past weekend, what a great view of the city it has. It was is a mile long walk across the Ohio River and even through there was flooding the bridge was open and all lit up with lights. It has a bike path on it and is very beautiful at... More

It is unusual to see a downtown park facility that is as lovely, safe and enjoyable as Louisville's Waterfront Park. Stroll along the river side among the trees and lawns, kids can play in the playground (parking is free). DO NOT MISS the "circle bridge", a railroad bridge renovated into a walking path that connects Louisville with the Indianna side.... More

The Waterfront Park has been a big addition to the skyline of Louisville! Very pretty place but it would be nice if there was more eating, drinking and dining places along the waterfront, but the park is a very good start!
