Hi again, it's the travelin' agents from Consumers Travel World. Very old factory on a side street. They should put up signs indicating that there is a large parking lot on premises. Not knowing that, we parked up the block. A lovely young lady gave us a brief and informative tour where we got to see stoneware from the clay... More

First off, a word of caution: if you're using a GPS to find this place, you're going to feel like it let you down. Right before you're tempted to turn around (and that would be about the time you make a couple sharp turns and go under a bridge), press on! Louisville Stoneware is tucked away on an industrial type... More

I enjoyed the LARGE selection of items to paint. We went as a family (2 kids) and had a great time. There were plenty of items to choose from and plenty of colors and tools to use. The staff was very patient and helpful. There temperature was great and the restrooms were close by. There were a lot of finished... More

To find something totally unique and one of a kind table settings, check out Luoisville Stoneware.. The design are outstanding and unlike anything else you will find elsewhere. The quality is superb and selection fantastic. To make your experience even more memorable, go to the outlet and factory tour which is free of charge.

The retail shop is beautiful and it was ready for Christmas. We took the tour, $7 per person, and saw how the stoneware is made. The artists were busy hand painting a variety of items. There is a small area that has discontinued items and they will make pieces you need by special order. Some of the artists still know... More

I was here with a group to take a tour and decorate a piece of stoneware. We were told that they were heavily booked with many groups, and we had 30 minutes to select a design, choose colors, and paint our piece - not nearly enough to go a good job. Not much explanation or guidance. Many skipped the tour... More

We played hometown tourist with our 8 year old granddaughter and had a great time. We had a groupon for pottery painting. Our granddaughter had a terrific time painting her own mug and we did Christmas ornaments for friends. This is a MUST see if in Louisville. Tour is free and fascinating for all ages. We bought an original piece... More

While visiting Louisville a friend took me to the store as I had complimented her on her stoneware at her home; the shop offered many tempting styles as well as affordable pieces to take home for souvenirs. We happened by for a Thursday night open house where we were served local red wine paired with delicious chocolate. Certainly a highlight... More

The facility is very attractive. I enjoyed the little pottery museum. I lived the solid colored modern place settings and the bird houses, but even the items in the discounted section were expensive. Nice to look at but didn't purchase!

Thanks for visiting Stoneware. Our pottery is definitely not inexpensive. Everything we produce is handmade and hand painted on-site and touched by nearly 20 artists during the process. On your next visit I'd like to host you for a factory tour. Please let me know the next time you're in town. More
