One of the best zoos in the nation. The water area is great on a hot Kentucky day! The panda habitat is our very favorite place to be!

We went as a family outing. The zoo is very nice for families and smaller kids. Stroller friendly. I don't think I have ever seen so many animals actually out and about as we did here. Very neat aquarium area.

We moved to Louisville and one of the first thing my 3 year old wanted to do was go to a zoo. We went to the Louisville Zoo and fell in love with it. We now get season passes every year. We go to their Halloween Zoo exhibit which is very fun instead of scary and the kids always get... More

Pretty nice. They have a good cross section of animals. They were working on a new, and quite large, polar bear exhibit both times I was there last summer and the bears were not available. They could use a grizzly bear. They had an Australian exhibit but no kangaroos. There are a nice bunch of turtles and snakes. A good... More

Love the Louisville Zoo. Have been many times with my grandchildren and always enjoy our time at the zoo. My favorites....tigers, penquins, gorillas, meerkats, although there are many other animals I enjoy watching also. Good place to walk and get in your exercise while enjoying the animals. The animals are well cared for and the exhibits are clean. Love it.

I have been to many zoos around the United States. The Louisville stands as one of the best I've visited. Several major additions and improvements have been completed in recent years.

My wife gets season passes to the zoo every year, so we have been frequently. The zoo is small enough that it has a family atmosphere but big enough to have quite a few attractions. We especially like going the week of Halloween. There are many booths set up with people handing out candy and dressed up in some pretty... More

This zoo is very well ran and it shows thru the animal exhibits and the health of the animals. The animals seem to be content and have plenty of stimulation to keep them moving. Exhibits were clean and in good repair. The entire park is clean and easy to navigate. Price is high but it goes for a good cause.

Was in town for a day and had not been to a zoo in a long time. There are amazing exhibit and tons of animals. It seem like a great place to take a family. You could easily spend a whole day here.
