This zoo is very well ran and it shows thru the animal exhibits and the health of the animals. The animals seem to be content and have plenty of stimulation to keep them moving. Exhibits were clean and in good repair. The entire park is clean and easy to navigate. Price is high but it goes for a good cause.

Was in town for a day and had not been to a zoo in a long time. There are amazing exhibit and tons of animals. It seem like a great place to take a family. You could easily spend a whole day here.

My young nephew had a meeting of the minds with an ape in the exhibit. It was very moving. The ape came to the glass and put his/her paw on the glass where my nephew was touching it. They gazed at each other intently. We didn't have a lot of time to spend at this visit, so I was glad... More

It's a nice zoo that feels complete but not overwhelming. They have many special events like Halloween trick-or-treating during the month of October. I wish they'd resupply their gorilla forest, though. It seems to have a much smaller population than they used to have.

We spent an afternoon at the Zoo and it was a lot of fun! The animals were all out and all very active, I can't say they are like that all the time, but for our visit they were and it made the trip that much better. Parking was easy to access and even with what seemed like a busy... More

Need to have hills with easier ramps for the handicapped wc and the aids that push them and more shadey areas with sitting

The Louisville Zoo has something for everyone and it is constantly adding new attractions. Not only is the selection of animals fabulous--including the Gorilla!--but there are also a number of interactive areas--a ropes course and water playground among them! The campus is beautiful and makes for a nice walk as well. It is fun any time of year

Average zoo at best. Growing up and visiting the Milwaukee Co. Zoo, the Louisville Zoo is really a disappointment. The waterpark is the only saving grace when you have young kids along during a hot August visit.

There have been so many improvements over the years. The addition of glacier run and gorilla forest make this zoo a must see

Our group of 10 really like the zoo, they have a wide variety of animals. There is a bird aviary that you can pan $2 for a serving of nectar that you hold and the birds will land on your hand and eat out of, so cool.
