The admission price, including parking was very reasonable. This is very well landscaped, with nice wide walking spaces . Wheelchairs are available to rent, electric or otherwise . All restrooms were clean and the restaurant offered fast service with several good choices, all priced fairly. The animal exhibits, inside & outside were all clean and well maintained. Lions and tigers... More

My husband and I decided to spend the day at the zoo. It was a lot of fun as I had never been to a zoo in my life. It's definitely designed for children, and even though there's a lot of walking, it was never unbearable. We had a great time.

I would definitely go again just for the bear enclosure!!! The bears are able to walk over you in their enclosed path way. The zoo was an average zoo. Enclosures were a bit tiny for as much land as there was. Enclosures were pretty spaced out as well, so wear walking shoes!! Gorillas weren't out, while we were there. There... More

Enjoy a wonderful time with family. Visit Glacier Run, water park, and get up close views of all the animals!

The Louisville zoo is your average zoo. They have your typical zoo animals but none that are unique to the zoo. The coolest exhibits by far are the polar bear/arctic and gorillas! It's a little larger than expected and makes for a fun and relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Louisville has one of several great zoos found throughout the Midwest. Glacier Bay is their newest attraction, and it alone is worth the visit. Kids will love the water play area, and I was tempted to join them this time (100 F heat index). Lots of good things to see and do here.

The zoo was just ok. Not many interesting exhibits compared to other zoos I've visited. My 3 year old enjoyed the zoo train ride best of all. The concessions are over priced and the staff is not friendly. You can get thru the entire thing in about an hour.

I'm a fan of zoos. I try to visit other cities' zoos. This zoo is very nice--not too big and not too small. I have a membership even! I love the inside exhibits that are great for nasty weather. The polar bear exhibit is exceptional. Love the play areas and water play area. Really not too expensive and parking is... More

Zoo is 1 mile long. My daughter loves it here. If you are looking for the bears go in the morning and loop back around in afternoon. The brown bears and polar bears take turns coming out as they share the exhibit. Zoo is very clean.

Went to this zoo over Labor Day weekend. First off, it was great since it rained right up till opening time then it stopped so we basically had the zoo to ourselves. My wife and I strolled around and the first thing that struck us was how clean the zoo is. Understanding that it wasn't a busy day, it was... More
