Took my kids to the zoo when they came down here. It was awesome we walked for hours and I don't think we got to see all the animals

We get season passes each year. My kids love the zoo. The zoo has been making improvements each year. Would like to see more picnic areas around the park for those of us who pack lunches.

We have been to the Columbus Zoo and the Cincinnati Zoo and I have to say that the Louisville Zoo is the best by far. It is layed out very nice and you see everything with out having to figure out where you are. It is one big loop and if you go down an area it brings you back... More

The Louisville zoo has come a long way over the last several years. The new exhibits are very well done. Our kids love the polar bears and grizzly bears. The zoo is always nice and clean and we enjoy our time here with the kids. The concessions are on the pricey side, but that's pretty much standard with places like... More

Me, my daughter, and 9yr old granddaughter went to the Louisville zoo Halloween party on October 10th. Even though it was raining we had a great time. The staff was in costume, and was enjoying it also. We went to see the animals on the 11th. Great time, but I think the concession stand items are overpriced. $4 for a... More

This zoo isn't one of the biggest in the country, but it does have some gems! The Islands is a series of exhibits shared by different animals that rotate throughout them for variation. They feature Sumatran tiger, Malayan tapir, babirusa, orangutan, and siamang. Some of the exhibits are a bit too small for some of the inhabitants, but it provides... More

Louisville zoo has an amazing assortment of animals and exhibits. Tons of interactive / hands on for the entire family. The Halloween party is always a big hit. Bring your own lunch, or eat at one of the different resturants. Beer is now sold, with a decent selection of domestic and craft beers available

I visited the Louisville Zoo in late September 2014. This is a great way to spend an afternoon. Great monkey enclosures.

Average zoo, disappointed since Fort Knox is so close they do not recognize the Blue Star museum program in summer for military families. Wait is FOREVER in the heat for the little train.

My family and I went to the Zoo on our recent trip back to Louisville, and it has gotten a lot better. I love the additions to Glacier Run and the remodeling of the Zoo Shop. It was nice to ride the train again, since it had been running. I love the fact the train runs in the opposite direction.... More
