Nice!!

Took my son, a zoo afficianado to this zoo and had a great time. It's well laid out, has excellent food choices and doesn't overwhelm you with "gift shop" opportunities.

One of better Zoos in Country, but many areas under construction. I am a Senior and a member of a reciprocal zoo. I am entitled to a 50% discount. They would not give me a discount price on the Senior price, but the regular price which was hardly any discount at all. This is the only Zoo that does this.

My kids are there at least twice a month. They love the rhinos, the giraffes, the elephants, and the opportunity to run around. It's a little hilly, so those with back issues beware, but aside from that, it's a fine zoo.

We love this zoo but our latest trip wasn't as good as some of our earlier ones. Many of the exhibit areas were being remodeled or cleaned. It was not very crowded so we got to talk to a lot of the staff and learned a lot about the animals and where to get a good view of them. The... More

I love zoo's but this one needs help. It is older and out of date. They are doing some upgrading but still needs help. The cost is to much for what you get. If you have the time go to St. Louis MO and enjoy a larger and free zoo.

It seems like if you're in Louisville, it's expected that you visit the zoo. I have to say though, it's one of the smallest zoo's I've ever been to, and I really wish they would expand it so the animals have a lot more room in their habitats. I felt like none of them had enough space, and just felt... More

My visit to the Louisville Zoo was a nice way to spend three hours. Numerous indoor exhibits including an albino crocodile. They also had on/off trams that traversed the zoo, $4 bucks and it saved our feet. A moderate size zoo they have several interesting exhibits like an incredible gorilla house and a rope climbing playground for kids. Our lunch... More

Not all zoo's are the same this one is a lot of fun. Take the train and get a different perspective of the park, be a kid and ride the carousel.

A great zoo at a great price. They even have a splash park for kids. We didn't know about it, but we let him play in his nice clothes anyway.

Although a few attractions were closed it was still a great zoo. Another thing that was unexpected that was great that we didn't know about is that military get in free :)
