This was a beautiful zoo! I traveled as 1 of 4 adults, along with my son who was around 6 months old at the time. It was quite hot when we went, but we still had a great experience. The zoo was a little smaller than some, but I think that made it more enjoyable because you did not have... More

The Louisville Zoo is a great zoo for an afternoon outing or all-day excursion. Typical high food and drink prices but you may take in a cooler or backpack with picnic lunch or snacks. Animal habitats are nice with plenty of information. Very nice overall.

So many animals to see. I would not call this a little zoo. Learning center is great for the kids in all of us. Come see. Picnic area is nice too.

Visited in March 2014 with my son and granddaughter. Been 20 years since I have been there. The zoo has done a lot of work updating. I was not disappointed and will go again.

For a small zoo, the Louisville Zoo is a neat place to visit. I wish they would update the aquarium/reptile exhibit, but I still enjoy seeing what they have on display. It's a great place for the family and they do a TON of events for kids.

It's a great place to spend the day! My two girls love it there. There is a lot of hills so prepare to be worn out though. Plenty to see, and I like that it has extra play areas and the splash park that are all included with admission.

We went on a family trip to the zoo in March... there were 20 of us who went together.. We had a really good day there... Everyone was polite to us, answered any questions we had... We had people from ages 4 to 65 and everyone enjoyed it.. Will definitely go again...

Louisville continues to go all out to make this a favorite attraction. Well done and handicap accessible. Large variety of animals to see and knowledgable guides.

My family of five visited this zoo in June 2013, as a side trip on our way from Indiana to Tennessee. It was awesome! We are from Indiana, and we enjoyed it much more than the Indy zoo which is overpriced and overcrowded. We particularly enjoyed the gorilla exhibit. It was really thrilling to get such an up-close look. I... More
