My cousin is a volunteer at the zoo so I like to come with her frequently to visit. They have really nice concessions stands located in great places. You often need to sit down, take a break and drink some water and this zoo have multiple locations where you can get that. The animals and exhibits are so unique and... More

The Louisville Zoo is a nice zoo but many of the exhibits were closed or were being revamped when we were there. There is a $5 fee for parking that is collected at the time you purchase your ticket at the front gate. The zoo is clean and well kept. Be prepared to do a lot of walking as much... More

My family and I love the Louisville Zoo. Clean, nice, and easy to walk around. They also have a lot of animals to see. Well worth the money, we go every year. If I lived in Louisville, I would go monthly.

The people were very rude and did not help you when you asked for help. Animals were very upset looking. Price was awful. The zoo was old and run down. The only good thing is that the Birds were cute. Overall worst zoo I have been to!

We are members with a family pass and go every chance we get. Our little girl loves the animals and swings. I highly anyone who loves animals to visit. The park has several new exhibits ie the polar bear exhibit that is second to none.

Halloween! You can always to expect a great Halloween at the Louisville Zoo. But you need to bring your patience. The parking and lines can be horrific :-). But the kids love it. I still think it should be included with your yearly pass.. Good time

Really had a beautiful afternoon walking around this zoo. They are doing renovations on some exhibits but still plenty to see. The enclosures all look really well kept and not overcrowded. Reasonable expense to get it and parking is paid for when you buy your ticket. Not too expensive though. Food areas and rest areas are all spread out and... More

From the first stop, my daughter- in- law's directed tiger feeding on schedule to the parking lot return , we all enjoyed the numerous animals, such as a polar bear swimming in a tank with a log toy; this could be viewed open sit at water level or under water through windows. Other animals were observed, particularly rhinoceros. giraffes, elephants,... More

Love the whole place, the gorillas are awesome. The big cats are my favorite. Plan on stopping back again.
