There are several pretty old homes here, but the experience was not what I expected. The area getting to Old Louisville was run down and we did not feel very safe. Once we got to the area we enjoyed walking the Saint James section. However, being from Richmond, VA, the area does not compare to Monument Ave.

The biggest historic district in the country. Take a walk through parks and past old mansions. Central Park has Shakespeare in the Park on warm summer nights.

We walked the area during the America's Most Haunted Neighborhoods Tour. It was absolutely stunning. Many beautiful houses, some mansions. Stunning!

Nice neighborhood to walk or drive along. Parking was a nightmare due to construction and snowbanks everywhere. Good for a visit once.
