It's absolutely gorgeous! It's more like a park than a cemetery! I wish we would have devoted more time to this place. A couple hours isn't enough! The ponds and fountains are beautiful, as well as the monuments, and the wildlife isn't very shy. We were followed by geese and ducks expecting a snack, so be sure to bring a... More

This was one of the most interesting sites we went to while in Louisville. We were with a tour, so we were in a little bus with the driver taking us to all of the good areas with explanations. They have a colored coded line system so you need to figure that out if you go in on your own.... More

This is one of the most interesting cemeteries ever. There's a little bit of everything here. The KFC colonel is buried there and some confederates. Normally you wouldn't visit a cemetery but this one is not to be missed. More

This cemetery is huge but very beautiful. Hard to believe such a large place (300+ acres) could be tucked away in this city. If you want to see the Col just follow the yellow line. More
