Designed by Fredrick Law Ohlmstead of N.Y. City's Central Park fame, the park is a green jewel on the south side of Louisville. Check out the view from the lookouts.

My husband and I visited his old stomping grounds at Iroquois Park. We went up to the lookouts and all the way to the top. While the lookouts and view were breathtaking, I was so sad and disappointed when looking directly over the edge or along the paths at all theTRASH. The statue (George Rogers Clark?) that used to be... More

There is always just enough rif-raff at this park to make me nervous. Though my wife and i have never had any issues, the public areas get a little ghetto sometimes. There is always enough people waling the loop to feel safe. We see foxes and deer all the time.

As a teenager I used to drive up and down the streets going to the top. The park has changed but its very nice. You have some great views of the city from the top, nicer than I remembered.

This park has not been kept up. We drove to the top to see the skyline of Louisville, and were quite disappointed that the trees have not been trimmed making it almost impossible to see the skyline. Very disappointed.

Love the tennis courts; and the hills for bike riding. You can get in shape real fast with that workout.

I live quite close to this park and visit it often. At first glance, it seems less grand than it's cousin, Cherokee Park, but there is so much more to Iroquois. For starters, the playground is huge. It also has a "sprayground" for kids to play in in the hot summer months. Be forewarned, the playground is always very full.... More

My wife and I met up with a couple of other friends here after flying into town for several days of Geocaching. Other than a lack of clearly marked trails throught much of the park, we had a great time here exploring it from top to bottom and end to end. The roads in here can be used to access... More

Great place to train for a run...steep hills and also a great place to take in a play outside during the summer.
