This is the place to be if you are looking for everything possible in a city park. You can bring your youngsters here to take advantage of the 2 "jungle gyms"...not to mention on warm days it has built in water spouts that the kids can play in and run through. There is massive room to take you pets for... More

This park has very nice walking pathways and it was just busy enough to not feel alone out there but, not very crowded. It was a good time.

was at this park many years ago, they have let all the pathways grow up so the only access to the overlooks are through a roadway, which is closed for the season, so u must walk, they do not have a mile marker of how far it is to the north or south overlook, but if you walk the whole... More

This was absolutely incredible! The paths were well lit, the themed areas transitioned well, parking was easy, it was organized...AND THERE WERE 5,000 CARVED PUMPKINS! There's hot cider for $2 and boozey versions for about $7. Get a photo taken and printed for $5. So fun!

The Jack O Lantern Spectacular is truly a treat. I didn't know about it until I got to Louisville and so happy that I got to see it. We got there before it opened, I suggest that you arrive by 6PM if you want to park on the pavement. I don't know where the overflow lot was but I am... More

We read about this event online and decided to give it a try. We were in town for one night and our hotel was not far from the park. All I can say is WOW! We attended on a beautiful Monday night and the line to get in was not long. There are plenty of restrooms, areas to sit and... More

I have on different occasions visited Iroquois Park, but always in the fall. The colors here are truly amazing! The trails are an experience, and in the summer there is usually a great outdoor concert series, but my favorite event is the Louisville Jack O' Lantern Spectacular every year in October. This event is so awesome it cannot be described... More

This is such a wonderful place to go year round. It is especially beautiful in the fall. The trees are breathtaking. It is a huge park with everything from playgrounds, tennis, horses, basketball, hiking trails etc. Right now there is a big pumpkin fest going on that we hope to go see. if you visit Louisville you need to make... This has to be the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. We went on a Saturday night and it took two hours to get through the line, but it is worth it. The carved pumpkins are beautiful. I have never seen so many pumpkins before. I think this will become a yearly thing, but next year we will... More

Absolutely deserves the "spectacular" in its title. Fantastical, magical experience. The depth and detail is astonishing - sheer delight to take our time and enjoy all of the artistry on this fairy-tale stroll through a sea of jack o' lanterns on a forested trail. We also appreciated so much that this was a family-friendly, sophisticated display - nothing grotesque, violent,... More
