I just returned from a hike into Iroquois Park and found the northern overlook has been totally demolished and reviewed the other overlooks. Stone blocks which were present in 1930's have been removed. On the other overlooks roots are invading the blocks . The Olmstead Plan called for several overlooks which he had visited with panoramic views of the surrounding... More

Also I've seen LARPing, frisbee golf, The Princess Bride on the big screen, and a multi cultural festival. Since everyone else is talking about the other stuff, here are some pictures of the zombie run!

In November the road to the overlook is closed, so we walked up, nice view at the top. Wandered around the meadows (saw two bucks) then hiked a trail back down. Great hiking area close to downtown. The public bathrooms were not usable.

It's a little pricey but I believe some proceeds go to charity and when you see the effort and time that must have been involved in setting this show up the price is justified. You won't... More

I have visited here hundreds of times since the 1950's and found it to be a wonderfully peaceful park with many hiking trails. There are two main lookouts on top, with southward and northward views. While some of the top of the park;s greenery has grown wilder with less grass trimming than 50 years ago, I have always been able... More

Had a wonderful time here. So much to enjoy! My children enjoyed the playground and splash park. This seems to be a very popular spot with locals. Will visit next year!

This park is the place to go to if you are looking for hills. I do most of my hill repeats at Iroquois. There's a local hill runner group out of this park, as well. The Iroquois hill runners are a great group to join if you want a good running group. The park itself is nice. There's a 3.5mile... More
