A cool concept. Like the Times Square of Louisville. But unless you like to drink and rock out to really loud music, your pretty much out of luck. There are no other attractions. It gets pretty crazy. Especially at night.

This place was close to our hotel, the Marriott Downtown Louisville, but we weren't that impressed with the place. There were some high end restaurants and the typical popular restaurants i.e. Hard Rock, Gordon Biersch, etc. They were pricey and the food was ok. You are paying more for the atmosphere. It reminded us of a place where the college... More

I was in Louisville for a conference and stumbled upon this awesome gathering spot just blocks from hotels downtown. Live music in the summertime on some evenings---and fantastic feature performers. I was able to just walk up to a free concert from Gloriana on a Friday night and they were amazing! More cities need this kind of outdoor venue, with... More

Not too busy on a rainy Satuday afternoon and many of the dining establishments did not open until dinner. However, we had appetizes in Tavern on Fourth and watched the people walk by below. Much busier at night. Fine if you like a selection of bars and some live music.

In town for Derby weekend. Booked a downtown hotel and enjoyed the 4th Street live. Although, mainly for the 20/30 something's .... My Husband & I still impressed. Visited PBR, Sulys and then Sports and Social club which includes a bowling alley. Good atmosphere at the Sports and Social. Professional Staff and bartenders and the hostess at their front desk... My boyfriend and I had a great time this weekend. Friday night we spend at Fourth Street Live and had a ton of fun. Bars and restaurants that appeal to a younger crowd.

I frequently visited Fourth Street Live during April 16-18, 2015 for lunch and sometimes dinner. It's great for those in town for conferences held at Kentucky International Convention Center. I was able to have a variety of choices for lunch and/or dinner. I did eat at TGIF, Chipotle, and Smash Burger (the garlic Rosemary French fries were awesome). My favorite... More

This is the kind of place that gets young people fired up, with lots of loud music, drinking and dancing. Definitely a well-run place with plenty of security and a dress code that is enforced. Drinks are not inexpensive, which makes me wonder how young people can afford to spend many nights here.

Will definitely want to visit 4th st live during the warmer weather. Lots of fun bars and outdoor music venues that were closed for the cold weather, but looks like the place to be in Louisville during the summer months.
