Hey its cool, just be ready to spend some moolah

This is an overrated tourist trap. The food is crappy or run of the mill. Half of the shops are vacant. If you want an authentic experience, go to Bardstown Rd. or the restaurants across the street from KFC Yum Center on Main Street. Troll Pub Under the Bridge is really cool and Me Gusta is a sports bar disguised... More

Fourth Street Live! has a bunch of restaurants and bars and things. I mainly visited for nightlife. During March Madness, they had the games playing on a big screen outside in the center. It's also accessible by the pedway for easy access from some of the downtown hotels. There was a fun vibe.

So many establishments to choose from. Hard Rock, a bowling bar, neat place. Live music, a giant flat screen for sporting events, kinda worth it. I will say this 1 bottle of beer in any joint is equal to a six pack you can enjoy safely in your own home. Good place to visit for out of towners.

I checked it out, nothing special, if you are a traveler and in the know the same contractor that built Power and Light district in Kansas City built 4th Street live. Some same restaraunts, overpriced food and drinks, etc. Kansas City does have a nicer setup though, but when I'm in KC don't go anymore, either. Both places have a... More

Fourth Street Live has an assortment of bars and eateries. Nice to have a drink or to have a unwind with friends. Howl at the Moon is a dueling piano bar that looks to be lot's of fun. You will need reservations though and they are not cheap. You can get in and stand for a cheaper price, but a... More

Two trips to 4th street live with friends from out of town. The first night was great, good food at TGI Friday's and an after dinner drink. It was a nice environment. The next night we were much later and found everything closed but the bars. It was very crowded with a rowdy crowd. There was an obvious need for... More

This area is chocked full of chain restaurants and bars which can be convenient if you are out for a night on the town. It wasn't over populated but the drinks seemed a little overpriced.

Four Street Live is more for tourists and convenience rather than a place that really represents Louisville. Lots of bright lights, chain restaurants, over priced drinks and entertainment packed in a two level block. But if Hard Rock Cafe, TGIF, Brazeiros Brazilian Restaurant is your thing, then Fourth Street is the place to be. Occasionally, Fourth Street hosts free concerts,... More

The bars and businesses were either out of business, or soon to be due to lack of customers. Virtually no one on street or in the bars that were still open. No entreatment not anything else attractive. Stay away.
