Great place to go, many places to go to. Many rerstaurants, bars, nightclubs. They have convcerts, Great place to hang at and walk around in.
It is true that this area is commercial, loud and not very original. However, the music, energy, lights and proximity to different types of food makes for a good evening for any group. The covered street ensures no worries about weather. Not rocket science but good fun.
This is the place where the action is in Louisville! Plenty of restaurants and a wide variety, too. Walking through this exciting area after dinner, it is hopping even on a week night with a lot of activity. Check it out for dinner or drinks or just people watching.
Walked here our first night in Louisville and found many restaurant choices. Lots of people walking around and eating outside. There was going to be music but we finished our dinner before that started. Only disappointment was the restaurant we chose to eat at the second night was closed for a private party---but there were lots of other choices. Walking... More
Take this from a Louisville native, there is plenty more interesting things in the great River City than here. People talk about how 4th street has Hard Rock Cafe, yes as long a you think loud music will make up for an over priced mediocre burger, than you will like Hard Rock Cafe. Take my advice, if possible, avoid 4th... More
Very good, no cost, entrainment. Love and Theft played while we was there. They put on an excellent show. Plenty of restaurants and clubs to grab a cold beer and do some dancing, I liked the Marque. Very safe environment.
I totally wish Chicago would invest in such a great sight, music, outdoor, and food area. There are plenty of restaurants (kid friendly). Very clean day and night! Love to sit outdoors to eat (excellent weather and the AC breeze helps). Totally recommend!
There wasn't much going on at Fourth St. Live when we were there but the potential for a great time is definitely evident. We ate at the Irish pub and had seats on the patio. The people watching was wonderful. We only had one night in Louisville on our way to a family reunion but this whetted our appetitie to... More
I never liked 4th street live, I lived a block from it, loud obnoxious younger clientele, and I am 25 years old....I'm glad to have moved away. To even get into the block of bars, you have to be carded and patted down, you can't take big purses and such in. The people at the enterance hassle you to remove... More
My favorite place here is Howl at the Moon piano bar. Music, drinks, fun atmosphere. I do wish they served food here, but otherwise love it. At 4th Street Live, there is a TGIFridays, Hard Rock Cafe, and several bars and restaurants. Even a bowling alley. Great place for nightlife.
