We decided to visit the Louisville Science Center while waiting to go to a ballgame. The friendly person at the information desk said that they have a lot of interesting displays for children but also have stuff for adults too. While going through, there was very little that I found interesting. Most of the displays were for children (and they... More

My 4-year-old was enthusiastic about the whole center. She loved so much the area dedicated to the human body and now she wants to become a doctor! Great experience for the whole family!

We ended our day here after hitting the Louisville Slugger museum and zoo all in the same day. Arrived around 4pm and wish we'd arrived well before that. There are so many interesting exhibits and displays that it's impossible to them all in a short time. The place is open until 9 but that is tight when you have kids... More

This is a solid visit. Certainly not spectacular. I probably would not pay the one off entry fee for a single visit but to buy a membership seems fair for multiple visits. (We are members of a reciprocal museum so it definitely had value). Our family of six enjoyed the 3+ hours we spent there - we saw the whole... More

My grandkids, ages 8 and there'd year old twin siblings had an absolute ball at the Louisville science center. We were there from 11:30 a until 4:45. They never got bored. One complaint though, a lot of the exhibits weren't working and they need some new equipment in the kids zone area. They closer at 5p week days.

This is a giant playground for kids - you might as well plan on staying several hours. My 7-year-old loves dancing in front of the dish mirror out front, surrounding himself in a bubble tube, building a ball roller coaster, blowing scarves out of the air tubes, designing his own bicycle on the computer and dropping the dam to release... I would recommend the Louisville Science Center, but don't go too far out of your way for it. It doesn't have anything super special, but all the kids will love it. There are endless creative demonstrations to help them relate. You could spend days in there doing whatever! If you have children they will love you for bringing them there.

We had such an awesome time at this museum! Though there were a couple of activities that were not functioning that day, everything else the kids got to do made up for it. The electric show kept even my severely disabled, deaf son engaged and that's nearly impossible to do. The fact that there was something for all of my... More

I remember going to the Science Center as a kid on field trips...it was always my favorite place to go because the exhibits were so interactive and interesting and the gift shop had everyone's favorite: astronaut ice cream. As an adult, I still enjoy coming here. I do think the exhibits are of mixed quality. Some are great, and others... More
