This is a giant playground for kids - you might as well plan on staying several hours. My 7-year-old loves dancing in front of the dish mirror out front, surrounding himself in a bubble tube, building a ball roller coaster, blowing scarves out of the air tubes, designing his own bicycle on the computer and dropping the dam to release... I would recommend the Louisville Science Center, but don't go too far out of your way for it. It doesn't have anything super special, but all the kids will love it. There are endless creative demonstrations to help them relate. You could spend days in there doing whatever! If you have children they will love you for bringing them there.

We had such an awesome time at this museum! Though there were a couple of activities that were not functioning that day, everything else the kids got to do made up for it. The electric show kept even my severely disabled, deaf son engaged and that's nearly impossible to do. The fact that there was something for all of my... More

I remember going to the Science Center as a kid on field trips...it was always my favorite place to go because the exhibits were so interactive and interesting and the gift shop had everyone's favorite: astronaut ice cream. As an adult, I still enjoy coming here. I do think the exhibits are of mixed quality. Some are great, and others... More

Nice visit, didn't stay as long as I would have liked. Kids will love the hands on activities, the only downfall was there were too many broken down exhibits.

We had great fun as a family. A lot of the exhibits are fun for Parents or Children. If you have the time to go then highly recommend this place

We drove an hour and a half to get here from Indiana. The parking cost $5 and we were under the interstate next to the river. The area seemed "shady" (not safe) and several men were sleeping on a concrete slab. Inside the place is extremely filthy and the only thing that a toddler can do here is the kid... More

This is not the best kids museum we have been to but it was entertaining for my 7 year old. He really enjoyed the 7 and under area with the city bus and ambulance play. The upper areas had more mature content related to reproduction, STD's, etc. It was worth the stop since we were in the area for the... More

This place was fun! So much for kids (and grown ups) to see, touch and do. We all learned something new on our visit to the Science Center.
