The Distillery is exactly how you would expect an American Distillery to be, makes you fell like a true American Icon. The tour guide was wonderful and personable. They allow you to do some tasting at the end and you will not be disappointed. The Bourbon is super smooth. By the way this place is super pro Military, all Military... More

Wow, in the middle of nowhere, but really worth the effort. We questioned the GPS twice, taking into consideration we were in the single track roads. The distillery house smaller, but you get the feeling there is more pride in the the whole brand creating process. Great tasting, gift shop well stocked.

Did this tour as part of the Bourbon Trail and it was definitely one of, if not the best tour we've been on. First of all, the grounds when you enter their campus are immaculate and beautiful - the building colors are unique and they have obviously done a lot to make it appealing. Then, the tour itself is full... More

Just when you think you have seen and done it all, another distillery surprises you...as was the case with Maker's Mark. Very unique atmosphere..a lot of history, and classy tasting room! Our tour guide Amanda was great...a lot of product to chose from...most of it delicious! Definitely worth the visit!

I'm a big fan of their products and was excited to take the tour. You'll notice that you pass several other bourbon distilleries enroute. This one is WAY out in the middle of nowhere, but well worth the trip. If you are like me and like promotional swag, you are going to love the gift shop, and most of it... More

Did the Bourbon Trail and this was our favorite tour. Loved the campus grounds - beautiful buildings, lovely grounds and setting. Tour guide (Ryan) was very knowledgeable and kept our interest even we took this tour on the last of three days touring the Bourbon Trail. In the bottling building there are many humorous posters of past ad campaigns. Keep... More

Very professional tour, very nice facility- We went on 12-30-14 so it was not crowded. "Stick your fingers in the vat" and taste the "mash". Learn the history and the process. Finally sit in a tasting room at the end and sample the goods. Educational, Professional and Entertaining.

For me this was a pre arranged activity on a tour across America and not being a whisky fan I wasn't expect to get much from this tour. However I was made to eat my words. The tour was extremely interesting, led by a very passionate and humorous tour guide. The tasting at the end was fantastic and even though... More

This was favorite tour on the Bourbon Trail. Beautiful location and informative tour IF YOU CAN FIND IT! It is located "far from civilization." There was no cell coverage and GPS was pretty useless so look out for the signs!
