We are not big Bourbon fans but you should not miss this just for the great history of it all and the beautiful setting it is. In the gift shop with your purchase of a shot glass or any other glass or bottle of booze you can dip them in wax. It's kinda cool. We enjoyed our visit.

The tour was very informative and the distillery was very beautiful. I learned more from this interactive tour than I did visiting several other distilleries. A must see

Definitely check it out. Very interesting even for a non-bourbon drinker! The process amazing...the bourbon has to sit in a barrel for 6 1/2 years before its bottled and sold.

Perfect length--- this is where you want to go through & taste the mash & do the tasting. It's well run & timed right. Cask strength is available there!

The Maker's Mark tour, was great and informative. We were there because my husband is a MM ambassador, and his barrel had matured, so we wanted to do the tour and pick up "his bottles." The tour was interesting, and Jennifer our tour guide, was very good at her job and clearly really enjoys it! We got to see the... More

One of the best tours on the bourbon trail. Seeing the "old school" process really helps visitors understand the process. After learning the basics here you can move on to other distilleries and see how automated the process has become. But there's nothing like seeing the hands on experience and of course the dipping of the bottles! Don't miss the... More

Bourbon is a booming business and Maker's Mark is booming along with it. The distillery is in a great setting, very picturesque. The tour was about 45 minutes and very interesting and informative. The tasting at the end was very helpful. Nothing against Wild Turkey, but their facility was a little tired, Maker's Mark looked fresh and new. If you... More

My chance - we had the opportunity to visit in December. The grounds were gorgeously decorated for the holidays. The tour was great - every part was my favorite part. We had Courtney as a tour guide - she was full of energy even at the end of the day! I could have spent hours and several paychecks at the... More

Another great part of Bourbon history. I is probably about 45 minutes off highway 65 going south, so probably about 1.25 hours south of Louisville. Great tour and very nice tasting room. The side by side comparisons off a tasting plank is very educational.

To start off the drive in is beautiful and it just gets better from there. All of the staff are friendly and courteous and make you feel like family when you arrive. When we arrived for our tour we found the past President Bill Samuels Jr. Was going to be our tour guide. He show us the rich history of... More
