The setting for this distillery is beautiful and the tour is worth making the extra drive. Waiting for the tour in very interesting, especially the talking photographs. Refreshment are available while you wait and the shaded porch is a pleasant place to wait. The tour is very interactive. Tasting the different mashes and feeling the heat from them was fascinating.... More

I've done a number of bourbon and scotch whisky distillery tours in the past, but the Maker's Mark tour was stand out for the level of interaction offered. Rather than just look at the fermenting mash, we were allowed to taste it in different stages of fermentation. And the tasting at the end included 4 different samples, including the raw... More

What a great tour guide we had. She was so much fun! It's a beautiful setting for a distillery. Nice gift shop too. It was fun to dip a bottle in the signature red wax. And the tasting was great too!

Maker's Mark is one of my favorite brands of bourbon. We stopped here after touring the Jim Beam distillery. Maker's is certainly in a much more secluded area and off the beaten path, but this also adds to the charm. It feels much less commercial and smaller than Jim Beam, for example, and you can see all of the personal... More

Came here for as Ambassador. Tour was great. Ashley our guy was awesome. Cool to have bottles with you name on them and to hand dip you bottles. Have drank MM for years. Nice to finally get there.

We were the first tour on a Saturday morning in late March and had a great time. Our tour guide, Courtney, I believe, did a great job for being new to the role. This distillery seems to be doing what they can to hold on to the personal touch, despite the commercialization of the industry. The grounds are very nice... More

Maker's Mark is really off the beaten path. Great tour. Great atmosphere. Sign up to be a Maker's Ambassador before you come for extra attention and a free tour.

Really enjoyed visit. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about history of the distillery. It was not the easiest attraction to find, but I'm sure you will enjoy the experience when you get there, walk around and appeciate all the goes into the bourbon making process.

The tour was excellent and Lindsay the guide was friendly and did a great job. At the end of the tour you can purchase a bottle and hand-dip it yourself.

If you are looking for a stop on a leisure weekend or added destination this is a nice stop. GPS challenged location so be ready to look for signs or use a paper map but you will get there. Enjoy.....
