Recently visited for the Miranda Lambert concert. Great experience and easy to locate. Would love to return to watch a University of Kentucky basketball game. Will defiantly return.

My husband and I went to see UK play at Rupp arena. As always, it was great! The staff is always friendly and helpful and the venue is always clean. Of course, the best part is the fans! GO BIG BLUE!

We went to Rupp Arena to see TheTrans Siberian Orchestra, which was amazing!!! Of course TSO was unbelievable, but the sound quality in the arena was great. Parking was a bit chaotic, typical with any big event. Concessions were pricey, as expected. Lines were long to enter, but the arena was very nice and centrally located in the downtown area.... I recently took my wife to watch University of Kentucky (UK) play and paid a little extra to get lower level seats. My wife and I made a big day out of it. We first went out to eat, checked out all the sites in the Lexington Center, watched warm up, the band pep rally, etc.... We both like watching... More

Sometimes traffic, people and lines can be bothersome, but it is well worth it attending a UK basketball game in Rupp Arena. There is nothing like being in that atmosphere.

IF you can get tickets, a Rupp Arena Basketball game is a bucket list item. Your best chance is when the students are on break or an early season game. It's a very intimate setting with 24,000 of your closest friends.

First of Garth Brooks show was fantastic!! Rupp Arena is quite a place to see, especially if you are a UK fan...(which I'm not) but the staff there were exceptional. We stumbled upon a exhibition show of reptiles while waiting for the Garth show. In another exhibition hall was live music (pre concert) that had numerous places to sit or... More

Less is more. Kentucky Basketball started in Alumni Gyn and then moved to Memorial . I went to games at Memorial. As an Architect I am very critical of the Rupp Area. The failings are too numerous to mention but putting a high value tradition in a mall is commercialism at its worst. Ky is the worst academic school in... More

The sound for the concert was nice, the seating was nice. However having to get 25000 people up basically 2 sets of escalators was time consuming. I think the arena should have arranged plenty of taxis after the concert. There were none.

Visited Rupp Arena for the first time November 1, 2014 for the Garth Brooks concert. I couldn't believe how huge the complex was, and there were several little shops. The concessions were not nearly as expensive as I expected ($5 for a large soda and $7 for a personal pizza). I was so worried about getting good seats, but honestly,... More
