Do it yourself with maps, perhaps a GPS, and a lot of patience. 2. Take a public tour and join 15-20 fellow visitors on a pre-planned tour of the area. 3. Take a private tour, planned by you and your guide, based on YOUR interests. You'll tour in the comfort of your own vehicle. Your guide can drive so you can soak up the scenery, but that's entirely up to you.If #3 sounds good to you, that's where we can help. Our tours range from as little as 3 hours, to a full day, or more - depending on your interests and budget. Start your planning early. That gives us time to learn about you and your interests and create a proposal for you. You're coming to one of the most beautiful and interesting places you've ever been! « less

I can't say enough about John Midbo and endorse his private tour service. If you have been shuttled along on to a typical tour, you know that the buses are often crowded and the service and information is impersonal. Touring withe John felt like spending time with a friend. He has an excellent working knowledge of the horse racing industry,... More

John arranged a tour for my wife and I on April 20, 2012. The tour consisted of breakfast at the Keeneland facility plus a tour of the facility itself. John then drove us through the beautiful countryside of Lexington stopping for a private tour of Claiborne's farm, do not miss the opportunity to see this farm. John arranged for tours... More

Thanks for making our visit to Lexington so memorable. Going to Keaneland, a horse farm, and a distillery was great. What made it even better was your in-depth knowledge of each place we visited. You did a great job in scheduling our day and you are very enjoyable to be with. You will see us and many of our friends... More

What an excellent way to spend time while vacationing in Lexington. John is an excellent tour guide and a great person all the way around. He was extremely knowledgeable about Lexington, the racing world and the farms in general. But best of all, he answered all our questions, was not in a hurry and seemed to love what he was... More

I just wanted to thank you for the excellent tour you gave our group. We enjoyed the trip to Keeneland and seeing the beautiful thoroughbreds working out. Your comments and information about the horse industry and Lexington were very interesting. We had a marvelous 5-day bus trip and your tour was one of the highlights. I would gladly recommend you... This year my friends and I opted to drive the countryside instead of baking on the beach. Out of the dozens of stops on our way, we made the most memories in the Bluegrass. John took us on an adventure to Claiborne Farms for an inside look into the land of thoroughbred horses. Along the way he was sure to... More

John, we truly enjoyed our trip to your part of the world. You are very informative and have extensive knowledge of the Bluegrass area. The scenery and the horses were far more than our imaginations had anticipated. We are looking forward to coming to Kentucky again next year and we will certainly be looking forward to spending another day with... More
