Good food with a walk around history of Lexington

I really enjoyed the food tour. 4th of July was a great time because of the extra energy from the festival. The food was great and unique.

Great tour for the history of Downtown Lexington coupled with plenty of food! We stopped by 6 establishments and got a good sampling of food. You will not walk away hungry! Easy pace, fun tour..good for all ages. The owner is very knowledgeable and goes out of her way to help you enjoy your visit to downtown Lexington.

Laurie was an excellent guide, obviously knowlegable about history & food. Learned a lot & ate a lot of delicious food. You really don't need to eat breakfast before, and won't eat lunch afterward. I look forward to returning to Lexington from NC and trying more of the restaurants from the tour. I highly recommend this.

Great Sunday afternoon. Lots of interesting facts about Lexington and good food at some places I had never been. The weather was fantastic for a stroll down Jefferson Street! Perfect combination.

As a native Lexingtonian, I thought I knew most of our history and certainly have eaten at many of the downtown restaurants. Bleu Plate Tours was even more fun and more informative than I expected. Walking at a comfortable pace, we were given gems about our community's history and sampled some of the region's finest menu items. I highly recommend... More

I really enjoyed the tour! It was very informational not only about restaurants, their chefs, menus, etc., but also historical knowledge also. Walking in historic Gratz Park was a treat, and I enjoyed all the tidbits of history that were presented. I do not eat red meat, so the hot dog stand was lost on me, but the rest of... More
