Experience why Kentucky is world famous! Our fun and informative horse farm tours (approximately 3 hours in length) take you through the heart and soul of Kentucky's beautiful blue grass horse country. Drive by, see and hear the history of Calumet horse farm, home of a breeding and racing dynasty that dominated the sport of kings during the 1940s, 1950s and beyond. Step out and enjoy a walking tour of the ivy-covered grounds of historic Keeneland Race Course, home to the planet's most expensive horse auctions. Take a peek at the thoroughbred horse lifestyle as we take you behind the scenes to explore a premier thoroughbred horse farm and visit up close and personal with their famous horses. We'll even see where scenes from the major motion pictures Secretariat, Seabiscuit and Dreamer were filmed.

It was evident our tour guide loved horses and he was extremely knowledgeable about the history and landscape of Lexington. From the moment we set foot in the van we were entertained. Every aspect of the tour was incredibly fascinating and we would highly recommend it. Well worth the money.

It was great to have a tour guide who was actually in the business. He was very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions. We enjoyed seeing the race track as well as the horse farms. Great tour!

This is just a great tour from beginning to end. We first drove around and saw some horse farms including Calumet and got out of the van to pet some young horses. Then we went to Keeneland Park to see the track and the queen's suite when she visited. We heard about the horse auctions there as well. Later we... More

We totally enjoyed this informative tour. Our tour guide, Nick, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, thoroughbred horse racing and care and upkeep of raising thoroughbred horses. We stopped at a couple different places including Keeneland Horse Racing Track & Facility and a "retirement" farm for thoroughbreds. Our pick up point was the Embassy Suites which had plenty... This is one of the best tours I've ever taken. My sisters and I didn't have a particular interest in horses other than a desire to learn more about the state where our mother grew up. Now we are having fun researching and following the careers of some of the race horse we met on the tour. Daniel is a... More

The tour guide Nick, a horse industry insider, was an excellent guide. His in depth knowledge gave a dimension to the tour that personalized the race and horse breeding industry. Stops were long enough to take as many photos as needed to capture as amazing photos of thoroughbreds.

We had a wonderful time touring the beautiful Lexington countryside with Daniel recently. He entertained us with an amazing repertoire of facts about the history and current status of the thoroughbred industry in the area. From seeing the gorgeous estates and facilities to petting some shockingly valuable animals, our experience was a great use of a summer morning.
