Been to several shows at the Opera House, they have all been good. Great seating and sound quality for any event. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Downside is no parking, just park on the street and hike it. Not worth paying to park, they are all a good walk anyways.

Wonderful experience at the Lexington Opera House. Beautiful facility, Not too large so you have a good seat no matter where you sit. Old world charm and first class atmosphere.

Great location, Historic building with a modern feel. Ample parking, Professional staff, Right in the heart of downtown Lexington. Excellent seating throughout. The historic building has been very well preserved and is a wonderful place to take in a play, musical, concert.

We went today to see Shrek the Musical. Not a large lobby area so it became crowded before show time. Plenty of close parking. Seats are numbered weird so I was confused about our seating. It is a small venue but we had an excellent view of the stage.

Nestled between the churches and businesses in the Old downtown of Lexington, the Opera House is a gem. They always have great performances and the ambiance and history of the building and surroundings really take you back. For a medium sized town they offer world class entertainment and a variety of different types of acts and shows. We have always... More

The opera house looked nice and appeared clean and cared for. However, it is pretty small and the top section is very high up. There is not much leg room at all, so it quickly got uncomfortable. We took advantage of the coat room, but that was not the best set up. After the show when we went to get... More

The Opera House is a good looking establishment, brick exterior, like a rehabbed fire house, but inside is in the tradition of opera and theatre houses with red carpeting and ornate hand rails up stairs to the nosebleed rungs. A large group of us attended the Black Jacket Symphony performance of the Beatles' album Abby Road. The musicians were talented... More

A restored theater from the 1800's, the Lexington Opera House hosts a yearly series of traveling Broadway and off-Broadway shows that usually sells out early. Local theater groups also present seasonal performances.

The Lexington Opera House is located downtown Lexington Kentucky. It is an old, beautiful, and ornate building, but renovated. It is smaller compared to other major city theatre. The sound and lighting are good. Both broadway & local plays. Parking readily available. Several great restaurants within walking distance. If I may, I'd suggest DeShae's around the corner.
