What a wonderful place to have a walk.

Right next to the UK stadium there is a beautiful place of trails where joggers, walkers, dogs on leashes all are welcome with thing blooming like crazy in spring and summer.

If you search a bit and can follow signage, you will find UKs ARBORETUM!!! Plenty of flora, a few fauna, wonderful walk- run trails. Any age and just about any physical condition, will find an interest.

Well-kept area and beautiful landscaping. Nice walking and running trails. Many quiet spots for reading, meditation, etc. I nice place to enjoy nature when you need to get away from the hustle bustle of the city.

The arboretum is a great place for those of any age to have fun, as there is a children's garden for smaller children (some parts involve water - make sure to wear sandals/flip flops and clothes you don't mind getting wet)! For teenagers and adults there are many free walking trails and sometimes gardening activities as well as an annual... More

I loved the days when the Arbo was just a big field. It was so big and the space so open and free and it was filled with birds. Now, however, it is different, but is still something quite special. Our little dirt trails around the perimeter are gone, but the paved ones make this beautiful space accessible to all.... More

Can walk your dog (as long they are on leash) In the spring there are many roses in bloom. Don't miss the memorial to a plane crash at Bluegrass Airport.

Visited the Arboretum to find three Geocaches which are hidden there. Although this was during storm Octavia, the place looked so lovely in the snow especially with the blue sky.

Great place for a walk or a jog. Lots of paved paths but there is also a nice wooded area, makes you feel like you're far away from the city.

I love walking the trails of the arboretum all year round. The voluntary groundskeepers do a great job keeping the trails interesting.
