Part thoroughbred race course, part sales company and considered one of America's most beautiful tracks, Keeneland is known for its well-designed and meticulous landscaping. The grounds consist of the paddock, a prep area where visitors can view horses up-close just before the race and a combination of dirt and turf race tracks.

Beautiful Racetrack

In the heart of the bluegrass, one of the most gorgeous racetracks in the world. Every April and October live racing draws the crowds. Something everyone should experience.

Keeneland is like no other place I have ever been! It is just big enough to have high class horse racing, but not overwhelmingly big. The grounds are beautiful. You can watch the trainers walk the horses in the paddock before they race. The restaurants serve delicious food with great service. A must visit place, even when they are not... More

Definitely one of the most beautiful tracks in America. Spectacular seats in the grandstand for under $20. Great food and you must try the Burgoo stew which is a tradition here. This is the Augusta National of race tracks- perfectly groomed with beautiful landscaping. Plenty of easy parking. Do know that this track is only open a few weeks for... More

Really beautiful track and grounds. I was unable to take a tour while I was there, so I just walked around. It was neat to see the track and go right by the winner's circle.

In my opinion this is the most beautiful racetrack in Kentucky. I have tailgated here with clients from all over the United Sates and loved every minuet of it.

We drove through wanting to see the track of this years Breeders Cup. We walked into a live auctilon for horses over $1,000,000. Rubbed shoulders with the buyers at the Cafeteria. The drive through the back of the property to see the paddocks was the most beutiful of all our travels. Four rail fences painted white with magnificent Kentucky grass... More

It was thrilling for me to visit Keeneland as I've always loved TB racing. Grounds are beautiful. It was open to the public but since it was a weekday, there was really not many people around. Lovely, relaxing time. They gift shop has lots of equestrian themed tchotchkes and prices range from a few bucks to several thousand dollars. Lovely... More

There are 2 major horse racing tracks in Kentucky, Churchill Downs and Keeneland. Churchill is large and holds the KY Derby with tons of history. Keeneland is simply majestic! Keeneland has stone walls and ivy and bluegrass and blue blood. Keeneland has spring and fall meets and the weather compliments the track at those times. Keeneland has the air of... More

If you love to bet watch some of the most famous races in the world this is the place. It's very crowded during big Events but you can get a regular seat on a calm day during when most kids have school (8:00-3:00) I hope you enjoy you're visit 👌🏻.

A beautiful Racetrack that should be visited/seen by any horse racing enthusiast. I recently attended the 2015 Breeders Cup, held at Keenland and a Great time was had by all! A very very large, nice impressive facility, both the racetrack as well as the landscaping.. The grounds were very well maintained, and the restrooms and all public areas were clean... More
