Got lucky and toured Keeneland the day before the fall meet started. Very quiet and peaceful, but lots of the horses already there. VERY friendly and accommodating staff. It is a nicely laid out historic place and eating breakfast at the track kitchen was a great idea. Loved it!

Keeneland was a blast....tailgating first and then off to the races. no cost to park....and the track is great! Well attended....many did get dressed up...but we did see others in jeans. more fun to tailgate and get dressed up. A must go if you are in the area or even a few hours away!

The trip to Lexington and Keenland is a super fall time experience. The hotel was a good value and the services of employees like Jack are top of line. We will go back to revisit soon.

Keeneland Horse Racing is a great experience that everyone should do. I learned that you need to book early if you want a seat in the grandstand and the restaurants need advanced reservations and the hotels book up early. They have free parking which the shuttles will bring you to the racetrack. The horse track is beautiful. They have a... More

Went to Keeneland to see this historic track. It was very busy and overcast outside. Nonetheless what a great experience! Signs gave directions on how to place a bet and you could place one for $1.00 and up. Easy to do and made watching the races fun. My kids loved it too. If you don't get a reserved seat, then... More

One of the nicest race tracks I have been to. The crown is nice and refined and it was a pleasure spending the day at Keeneland. There are plenty of restaurant options and concession areas for fast foods. Plan ahead if you want to eat in the restaurant as reservations are required and there is a dress code. Loved the... More

This time we traveled with four other couples for our annual bourbon trail trip. On our last full day, we opted to head to the racetrack. We had reservations at the Phoenix Room. Again, the food was wonderful, our waitress was very good and everyone had a fun day! Some in the group took advantage of talking to their betologists... More

Loved the view out over horse country. Whether you bet or not, you can enjoy watching the amazing horses up close in the paddock and on the track.

Beautiful to visit the grounds, even if you are not there on a race day. Typically they workout the horses early, approximately 6:30-10:00. If you are an early riser, you can virtually a one-on-one view of the horses. They will let you wander around on your own as well but do not open the gates into the grounds until 9... More
